Yes without lessening Kylie’s achievement it’s pretty stark how the pecking order of most other Christmas songs stayed almost the same this week.

Based on this chart, Last Christmas did 25K SCR sales and Mr. Brightside did 15K SCR sales. They're basically neck in neck but Mr. Brightside will basically take the all time #1 most consumed track for most of 2026 until Last Christmas catches up near the end of the year again.

I can’t see anything catching up with Mr Brightside for at least 10 to 20 years.
