Southampton played well, Man Utd always a threat on the counter. The drop in quality is certainly noticeable for Man Utd and you can't keep playing your Best XI every 4 days.

 

Think this comes down to Leicester vs Manchester United on the last day.

So bloody typical of the modern day United. We FINALLY have a chance to get back in the top 4 and completely f*** it up.

Disappointing result as we could have gone to 3rd if we had won but we still have a good chance of making the top four. Ultimately if we miss out it will be because of our inconsistent form in the first few months of the season. If we performed earlier like how we've been performing lately we would comfortably be in the top four already.

It's just typical of where Man Utd, Chelsea and Leicester are imo. I remember Liverpool being in the same boat MANY times. Utterly frustrating as there are the hallmarks of a good side. But it's totally going to be all to play for on the final day, personally I can see Leicester needing to win looking at the fixture list.

Leicester play Sheff United on Thursday and then another difficult penultimate game so united should take 4th off them still tbh.

 

Well played Southampton didn't think they had it in them but they are in good form and donwell vs the big teams.

The Sheffield game will be tough but I fancy Leicester to edge it. Then they play Spurs who are awful so would back them to win that.

 

Chelsea meanwhile will crush Norwich tonight and then... well are Liverpool going to do us a favour in pursuit of an irrelevant record no one really cares about? :whistle:

I have just recalled that FA Cup Semis are this weekend so wonder what effect that will have on us & Chelsea in squad rotation. City & Arsenal have nothing to play for in the league so all their eggs are in the cup basket.

Arsenal have been on decent form in the past few weeks after a slower start.

I think what is even more remarkable is that Norwich had 21 points when the season was suspended and they're on course to finish the season on the same amount of points. They needn't have bothered restarting by the looks of things.

As a serial underdog fan I want both Leicester and Sheffield United to get three points here!

Either way it would be great given the season they have both had well, Leicester City til pre-lockdown.
