I think Bob would suit the show perfectly- If I had to replace Ross and Karson i’d say Bob and Peppermint- or maybe Jinkx

I would love to see Jinkx, Bob, Bianca or Trixie as guest judges (not permanent additions though.)

there’s only one queen qualified + funny enough to sit on the panel - bianca del rio.

i don’t really like the idea of having another drag queen on the panel, though.

if we were making a list of drag queens that hadn’t been nasty, we’d be looking at a very short list x

I think the list of sexual assault apolgists are small :)

Watching Bob on The Pit Stop has made me want her on the panel, or just presenting more in general — she's just such a natural and effortlessly hilarious.
okay mr comedy professor. i'd like to see some case studies if you're going to make such outlandish statements

not liking the jokes =/= discrediting/diminishing comedian's entire career

I'm only commenting on Ross in his capacity as a judge on this show. I don't follow his entire career and I'm not commenting on his entire career.

I'm not a professor. But one only needs to read the first page of an improv book to know a RuPaul improv challenge is not actually improv.

It grates me that talented, hard-working queens are critiqued on their improv abilities based on a scene that has been pre-shaped and contrived by a director. The performers are not fully able to make authentic moves, which reflects badly on their perceived abilities and opens them up to criticism. Yet Ross is praised as hilarious, for a much smaller contribution.

That's my opinion. It's not fact. There are no case studies to support it.

Ross but I find both irritating, just moreso with Carson who also gives more ridiculously questionable critiques, his lack of taste is appalling.

I still don't see how he has no understanding about improv. You're making it look like you're an expert in it somehow but refusing to give any examples or elaborate completely diminishing his contributions as a judge even though judges should not even be compared to the queens.

I agree that the challenge on this show is not technically improv because it has a structure and some of those parts are planned but all the work is still done by the queens. Therefore it doesn't really matter if they call it 'improv' or 'acting' challenge in the grand scheme of things.

This is what makes the show good. The queens are being put outside of their comfort zone and it's a challenging experience. There's always a strategy because it's a reality TV show but it sounds pretty improbable to edit a good performance to make it look like a flop. So if you make people laugh, you're awarded for it. All of the acting roles here can be a success if done right.

I think the judges should have experience with the demands of the challenges personally.
