July 19, 20205 yr Author There is a definite divide between the quality of these videos. Die Another Day is my favourite of the lot. The original American Life video is a very tough watch in how controversial it is and how bold the message is. Hollywood is decent. The 2nd American Life video and Love Profusion though... July 24, 20204 yr 1) American Life (original) 2) Die Another Day 3) Hollywood 4) American Life (flags) 5) Love Profusion I wish the original 'American Life' was on Madonna's official YouTube. :( An uncomfortable watch at times but it's successful in getting its message across, highlighting the state of politics and the media. I love Madonna's look in this video, I do wish they could have kept the parts where she's rallying the women as I think they could stand up on their own. I'm a big Bond fan so the many references in 'Die Another Day' to the film franchise's then-40th anniversary is much appreciated. I like how it works as an independent Madonna video too with Madonna at war with her inner self. The video for 'Love Profusion'... it's a copy of a fragrance advert although I think it looks more like an advertisement for fabric conditioner. Wasn't this when Madonna was into writing children books? It figures.
