Probably it's KSI power, but I really liked the girl's vocals but she's not credited at all and some people on YouTube are saying it's Ella Henderson. Is it really her? :unsure:

Had he not done that interview I wouldn’t have even given it a second thought but even though it’s pitched you can tell it’s her! She does gets writing credit at least.

I suppose this is how to break into the saturated DJ market atm, do a well-known cover/sample as your first song then you can start bringing the original stuff to the forefront. See Joel Corry etc.

 

KSI though? I like some of his solo stuff but his vocal style doesn't suit this type of music at all... still it's a decent track and tbh he could have released literally anything that could be classed as noise and it'd be 1000x better than Flowers.

So I think this will get a far better reaction on here than his version of 'Flowers'. I actually liked his version of Flowers (I didn't like Cheatin' though as there have been three better dance versions of that song imo) but its good to see him doing an original song now, and its sounding very good on first listen. I wish he wouldn't have slowed down and minimised the beat that much during KSI's verse though, need to keep the energy going.

 

Perhaps it didn't credit Ella Henderson because her voice is pitched up a bit.

Yeah like how Laura White wasn't credited on Galantis' Love On Me, very little point!

I'm enjoying this, although I'd prefer it without KSI at least he doesn't totally ruin the track like Jaykae on Flowers.

Uncredited voices (on tittle) It seems very common now. i.e. Karen Harding, uncredited on Eli Brown's Immortal, Majestic's Bodywork, Just Kiddin's Time Alone...

For me this is just as good as the Joel Corry/MNEK song. I prefer the production on Lighter as it is more energetic but the vocal on Head and Heart is better.

 

I actually prefer the version with the KSI rap because the version without it I find a bit repetitive.

Really cringe how he's so obsessed with how him and Little Mix are charting (KSI). Sis needs to get a hobby.

He tried it with The 1975 and August D's albums as well, and that didn't end up very well for him :lol:

 

He's just insanely unlikeable.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! I think chart obsession is never a good look on popstars/artists tbh, it just shows how much you care more about succes than your actual artistry/music.
