Its interesting that younger users on the site dont for example know of the huge career of Kylie and other artists like her.

well her last big hit single was over a decade ago now, I wouldn't be too surprised. Although I'm just about 23 and remember her being big in the 00s but I obviously pay more attention to pop music than most.

I've got as much idea as you! The band don't appear to be doing anything to promote it so my only guess is that it's been featured in something.

Edit: Doing a bit of digging apparently Tony Hadley chose to play it on BBC Radio 2 this morning so that may be it.

IS TONTY BALLET BEHIND THIS?

2+18. Kylie Minogue - Say Something

33. Jason Derulo - Take You Dancing

42. RAYE - Natalie Don't

58. Master KG - Jerusalema (feat. Burna Boy & Nomcebo Zikode) [Remix]

121. LP - The One That You Love

168. Cashh & WSTRN - Wag1 (feat. WSTRN)

1438. I Would

This would have made a great single. I've heard it in recent years at house parties and playing in shops...seems quite well known for an album track. Very catchy track.

Didn't 'Dancing' go top 10 on iTunes upon it's release just a couple of years ago? Idg why it's so shocking that she's so high up? If this was Spotify or Apple Music then sure, I'd understand. But on iTunes, I definitely expected this (and I'm expecting her to hold up well on iTunes).
Mel C was top 5 on iTunes this year, Jake Quickenden top 2. The only people shocked Kylie is number 2 are Kylie fans trying to make it out it to be unexpected or bigger than it is.

Aren't you a positive little ray of sunshine!

Dancing did really well on itunes and sold decent in the end, the 5th single from her golden album, music too sad without you also went top 10 and had a decent itunes chart run.

There's nothing wrong with people supporting their faves... why is that an issue for you?

They're in the iTunes thread. They're supporting it's iTunes performance, which is what this thread is predominantly for, no?
