It's a pity that both of these songs are rather divisive, it doesn't feel clear-cut to go with one over the other. Like, I know there's other members here who think that Party for One is one of her very worst songs. :(

 

I feel like I'm in a minority in thinking that both are very fun/up-lifting/great pop songs!

 

If I didn't ask for feedback and I just went with what I wanted to send each time, I would go with Party for One. However I get the impression that I Really Like You is generally more liked. Gah!

I like them both a similar amount tbh. Solid pop songs but not essential Carly for me and she's done so much better with singles and album tracks personally.

Round 8: Final single of an era

 

Well, Tonight I'm Getting Over You was the clear final single from Kiss, so that's certainly a contender.

 

Oddly things get a bit confusing beyond that era. According to Wikipedia, Your Type was the final EMOTION single (a song that has already been sent in this contest), but personally I would regard Boy Problems as its final single. Regardless, I don't think it's a good idea to send that one.

 

The Dedicated era... Wikipedia claims Too Much was the final single from it, but Want You in My Room received a music video a few months afterwards. To me, it felt like a single as much as anything else with a music video from Dedicated?

 

I actually prefer Too Much over TIGOY and WYIMR, but it just doesn't sit right with me for it to be defined as a final single! :lol: So unless there's a lot of requests from you guys for Too Much to be sent, I probably won't go with that one.
