This is the chart run of 'Party Girl' compared to the run of 'Kings & Queens' in the weeks since it entered: 85-53-34-28-24-18-17-16-13-17-17 33-29-25-30-27-31-26-21-19-22-21 So 'Party Girl' has been higher in the chart for the last 8 weeks already xx
July 20, 20205 yr I'd say capaldi and harry styles will reclaim top 10 positions by end of the week. They are looking most likely, will be top 10 along with Dua Lipa, the sales all look pretty close all over the board. We should get a better picture by Wednesday :P
July 20, 20205 yr Someone You Loved will break Shotgun's record for most consecutive weeks in the top 75 this week with its 81st week. Interesting to see Hallucinate is now here above Physcial. Mr. Brightside also refuses to go away despite there being more new releases lately, two more weeks and it'll equal its second longest consecutive chart run of 16 weeks
July 20, 20205 yr Unknown T has quite a few songs in the top 200 on both Spotify and Apple (none that are super high up but that's not that relevant as far as the album chart goes since the top 2 songs get their stream numbers downweighted anyway) - I think he should be coming for at least a top 20 debut and maybe top 10? Comparing to DigDat who I think did fairly similarly on streaming, apart from having one breakaway track of course, and he managed to enter at #12. Wow, you were VERY accurate with this. My bad for doubting you. What’s your tactic for analysis?

What’s your tactic for analysis? :lol: My predictions are much less accurate than this most of the time unfortunately. x Like I said I was just using DigDat's album as a comparison point as I remembered the album tracks from that having fairly similar positions on Spotify and Apple Music! (And of course both albums did/will have more or less negligible pure sales so it's really only streaming numbers that need to be compared). Physical is still ahead in sales including ACR, the label must have asked the OCC to star it out to allow Hallucinate to chart. That's interesting, I know there has always been a clause in the rules allowing labels to do this but I don't remember any previous instances where they actually did. Glad that they have done this to ensure 'Hallucinate' at least gets to register a position somewhere in the chart - of course it might / hopefully will still climb further in the next few weeks anyway though.

Very happy it's positioned to achieve a new peak. Fine Line sits at Number 15 but, should regain a Top 10 position through the week.

July 20, 20205 yr I don't think Hallucinate is on ACR though - it's probably just that Physical on ACR was still selling more than Hallucinate on SCR.
