July 19, 20205 yr He's still releasing as far as I'm aware. He may have parted ways with 3 Beat hence the lack of big releases though?
July 19, 20205 yr Rixton was such a non-#1 too.. 1-8-12-20-24-35-42-50-56-63-56-60->12 they only barely made the year end list too, at #97
July 19, 20205 yr Rixton was such a non-#1 too.. 1-8-12-20-24-35-42-50-56-63-56-60->12 they only barely made the year end list too, at #97 They have changed the band name to Push Baby now  -_- no wonder they can't get anymore hits :D https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Push_Baby Also Jake Roche is the son of Shane Richie
July 19, 20205 yr Push Baby, great band name.... not :D I'm actually surprised they haven't made a proper comeback yet, last I heard they signed with this Scooter Braun guy that is the manager of Bieber, Ariana etc
July 19, 20205 yr I think Fuse ODG just made the conscious decision to not release any more commercial singles, he could easily have got hits in recent years when UK rap got more popular but he just wasn't making chart friendly songs. He even got Ed Sheeran on one of his songs but the song itself wasn't commercial enough to be much of a hit.
July 19, 20205 yr Push Baby's debut EP is surprisingly brilliant - much better than anything they released as Rixton.
July 19, 20205 yr Your Love :cheeseblock: deserved top 3 :( The days when let it go was constantly in the 11-25 section :cheeseblock: Ghost slaying so much :cheeseblock: The week before THAT Cheryl vs Magic battle :cheeseblock: We love an iconic chart *.* (if I go deserved better, I rly thought that was gonna be a top 10 hit at the time :/)
July 19, 20205 yr This may seem a weird question but what was the state of the charts like in 2014? Because in my mind, the charts only became super slow when streaming was introduced but 2014 pre-dates that and most of the chart is like 1 or 2 place movements with a heap of non-movers.
July 19, 20205 yr Last week's Top 3 Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo gUci-tsiU4I DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch mxFstYSbBmc Joel Corry x MNEK CRuOOxF-ENQ Back in 25 for the First Look Chart :cheer:

July 19, 20205 yr Hi peeps  I'm still here today but Martin's giving me a lil break from hosting for a change! :heehee: Thanks so much Martin!
July 19, 20205 yr 2014 was the year I started following the chart, I remember so many of those hits  Me & My Broken Heart, Problem, It's Ma Birthday (:cheeseblock: :cheeseblock: :cheeseblock:) Ghost, Your Love, Right Here, Sing, Chandelier well basically everything in that top 40 slays lmao. Ellie for #1 *.* This may seem a weird question but what was the state of the charts like in 2014? Because in my mind, the charts only became super slow when streaming was introduced but 2014 pre-dates that and most of the chart is like 1 or 2 place movements with a heap of non-movers. Streaming was included at this point in 2014 but pure sales were still at a high level, enough that songs moved far more fluidly. Downloads being held back meant it wasn't uncommon even in 2015 for big hits to do 100k in a week. Iirc it was only after OA/OS was introduced with the Friday chart move that downloads REALLY collapsed, as they weren't getting those big Week One numbers anymore. Edited July 19, 20205 yr by Andrew.
