I’m pleased tbh - 3 versions and a physical is plenty. If they really want to they can still chuck out a 99p download however that was a knee jerk reaction to ‘Dancing’ starting off at #16 in the mids then being on the verge of missing the Top 40 - If SS starts out at #42 or something the same reaction won’t be there tbh.

Think I'd have preferred a little less effect. I was also finding myself work out whether she was miming or not (it started off exactly like the original then there was a few changes, but I think she was miming to a pre-recorded 'live' vocal.) The effects make it hard to tell and that kinda took me out of the performance.

Correct it was released on the 10th as a full price download, then moved to 99p on Wednesday with the addition of a dance with Kylie competition in reaction to the mids.

That does sound if its mimed or mimed to a partly live pre recorded voacl.

Ya it will prob fade away again now for a few weeks, the performance staging is very busy, not the best to be fair.

I think the performance was probably filmed a while back

The performance has too much background activity.

I think she will be singing Say Something for Mika. Looks pre recorded already with some night lights in background for Disco theme

Good to see Say Something up from 285 to 119 on UK iTunes

I know not many sales needed but keeps it ticking over

 

I suspect the other remixes will be added to the 99p bundle on the week of album release to try and boost Say Something to a new chart position nearing the top 40

The song should get streamed heavily that week and also she is likely to perform it as part of promo somewhere etc?

 

Plus likely a 99p remix bundle will come out on her website that will get good downloads

 

Plus 12" vinyl single of Say Something also released on same week as album which should give it some good sales too.

Her I Love Beirut Mika concert acoustic version of Say Something with piano sounds brilliant. Let's hope it picks up a bit of publicity for her as well as raising more money for the Lebanon cause
