Honestly I'd quite like that! Would it mean week 2 and beyond we'll have 3 way lip syncs? So:

 

Silky vs Ra'Jah - Ra'Jah goes home.

Silky vs Eureka vs Ra'jah ; Eureka wins, Silky rolls over to next week, Ra'jah permanently gone.

Eureka vs Scarlett vs Silky; Scarlett wins, Eureka rolls over to next week, Silky permanently gone.

No I think it's just the two, it was on the Survivor season that fans are using to explain. I guess it'll be maybe that the challenge winner decides who goes, or maybe just the judges come to the conclusion who is eliminated straight up, they could even go full Survivor/Big Brother and have the queens vote (which they kind of did already last season) on the bottom 2. I'd much rather they mixed a normal judges' decide situation with the new format, I don't want it to get too tactical all the time and overtake it being about the challenges and talent of the queens.

 

I guess week 1 could be a normal lipsync for your life too as obviously they don't have a second eliminee to lipsync against yet. I like that it will be the case that they have to fight to stay, instead of just whinging or causing shit about it, their fate is in their own hands. When they have lipsync for theirlegacy, ofc the queens are going to want the 10k, but I feel like sometimes they hold back not wanting to decide who is eliminated to get blood on their hands, given what happened to Shangela and Manila in previous seasons.

 

The more I think about the idea, the more I really like it actually! Especially compared to the damp squib of the lipsync "assassin" thing in AS5.

Speculation is that the twist this season is "redemption lipsyncs" which appear to be similar to Survivor: Redemption Island.

Yeah i've seen the Survivor likeness before but tbh the Redemption Island twist in Survivor is one of the most widely disliked twists in Survivor history by the fans and all three seasons of the show that have used this twist were awful (IMO) so idk how I feel about this :lol:

I think it's one of those that depends on who wins them and when the return is, which I guess you could say for most possible twists - it's always good if it's going your way :lol: I feel like I'd find it really unfair if say someone got eliminated on week 1 and got to come back in like 6th place because of winning lipsyncs all along, plus it could be really boring if we had a lipsync assassin who won like 4 or 5 in a row, you could so imagine Ra'Jah doing that and the fandom being fuming that we couldn't get rid :lol:

So basically the first episode will have a bottom two, then each episode after will have one bottom place who will go up against the winner of the previous week’s lip sync?

 

Then at some point the winner could be fully reinstated rather than being permanently lipsyncing, then from there it’ll be another bottom two, basically starting again from scratch?

 

Week 1: Silky v Rajah (Rajah wins)

Week 2: Eureka v Rajah (Rajah wins)

Week 3: Scarlett v Rajah (Scarlett wins, reinstated)

Week 4: Ginger v Jan

 

Something like that? I think I’m completely off the mark as that just seems like the normal lip sync process, with the added bit of the winner of the lip sync has to then lip sync the next week rather than have the potential to be safe?

It's just what I'm assuming from rumours and speculation. I'm thinking with there being more episodes, there will be more than one point where somebody gets re-instated to the competition so the twist will keep going for most of the series. It is kind of like normal but I like that they're forced to fight for their own place in the competition rather than having someone else decide on a whim.

 

I'm not sure of the finer points and how they'll do everything, I hope it's not one of those they manipulate at their convenience for some bullshit but we'll see, I think it could go either way :lol:

I would prefer them keeping the LSFYL(egacy) and adding the LSFYL(ife) with that twist in the second episode once there are two eliminated bitches. End of episode 2 would be nice for a surprise GAG moment no one is expecting!

Apparently one of Yara (:()/Serena is out first, Trinity gets top 5 and the top 4 is Sonique, Ra'jah, Eureka and Ginger.

 

I don't think I can watch if Eureka gets that far, I honestly can't stand her :(.

That seems an odd top 4 but in a good way, you wouldn't call that from the cast so hopefully this means it'll be more interesting than AS5 where everything pretty much went as expected bar India making it as far as she did.

Yara going early, Jan & Scarlet's rudemptions flopping, Silky being the returning queen and Ra'Jah in the top four. Only thing I'm excited about is Sonique's rudemption and Ginger being top 4. :heart: :heart: :heart: Hopefully one of those two wins, lord knows Ginger deserved it in S7.

The only good thing about this is that she's unlikely to win. Surely producers know how a Silky win would be an absolutely terrible decision.
