American singer Kelis has contributed much to the music industry in the past 2 decades. She exploded on the scene with the outrageous screaming lyrics “I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW” on her first major hit Caught Out There, and she has been a frequent vocalist selected by many producers since then. These are her most notable contributions to dance music to date;

Help Me (with Timo Maas)

Finest Dreams (with Richard X)

Millionaire (with Andre 3000)

4 Ur Ears (with Timo Maas)

Scars (with Basement Jaxx)

No Security (with Crookers)

Spaceship (with Benny Benassi, Apl.de.ap & Jean-Baptiste)

Bounce (with Calvin Harris)

Copy Cat (with Skream)

Tomorrow Changed Today (with Demitri Vegas, Like Mike & The Wavs)

Give It All (with Don Diablo & Alex Clare)

Hearts (with Dan Black)

The Key (with Breach)

Back And Forth (with Giorgio Moroder)

Do It Like Me (Icy Feet) (with TCTS & Sage The Gemini)

Farewell (with Dan Black)

My Milkshake (with Freejak)

Which of her current dance features is your favourite?

Which dance producers would you like to see her feature with in the future?

I really did enjoy rediscovering many of these forgotten tracks from over the years, many of which did not make a chart impact, but those that did generally feature highest in my ratings as follows;

1. Bounce (with Calvin Harris)
2. Millionaire (with Andre 3000)
3. Finest Dreams (with Richard X)
4. Do It Like Me (Icy Feet) (with TCTS & Sage The Gemini)
5. Spaceship (with Benny Benassi, Apl.de.ap & Jean-Baptiste)
6. My Milkshake (with Freejak)
7. Help Me (with Timo Maas)
8. The Key (with Breach)
9. Back And Forth (with Giorgio Moroder)
10. Tomorrow Changed Today (with Demitri Vegas, Like Mike & The Wavs)
11. Hearts (with Dan Black)
12. Give It All (with Don Diablo & Alex Clare)
13. 4 Ur Ears (with Timo Maas)
14. No Security (with Crookers)
15. Farewell (with Dan Black)
16. Scars (with Basement Jaxx)
17. Copy Cat (with Skream)

Even though she has been around a long time, as she is still an active singer I do reckon she will still get picked up for more dance records in the future. A couple of current producers I could see approaching her someday could be Roberto Surace and Waze & Odyssey.

She's still making music?

Millionaire is a BIG BIG song, a soundtrack to many childhood memories sooo that has my vote!

She's still making music?

she's not, 'Farewell' is seemingly the last thing she's released (excluding the Freejak remix of 'Milkshake') and that was in 2017.

I'd never heard of it before now, makes more sense that's her final song rather than 'Do It Like Me' I guess.

actually as it turns out she's featuring on a Disclosure album track, and supposedly has a new EP coming this year (but she did say that before COVID so who knows)

Spaceship, undoubtedly my love since 2010 <3

No Security sounds awesome too!

The Key is far and away my favourite here, was really under appreciated at the time but was the last in the fantastic trio of Breach singles.

hard to choose....

I will go with Starship, although Bounce and The Key are not far behind

Bounce is UNTOUCHED, one of Calvin's best ever and definitely the best on this list. I love Do It Like Me though
