Ad was on during GMBritain this erm, morning.

If there was to be a vinyl release, I'd release it in the first week of January following a month on the Radio 2 A-list (assuming its added from the 5th December). That way it builds momentum throughout December (and gives a boost for the album) and the vinyl release allows it to chart when all the Christmas songs have disappeared.

This method could provide an outcome of a 3rd Top 100 placement from Disco.

 

I really think that with upcoming promo and the marketing by BMG so far they are really placing DISCO in the best possible position to benefit over the Christmas period - even though there are a ton of new releases in Q4 it seems to be lacking the big killer albums that will take all the sales and I really think DISCO will now have more exposure and benefit massively :yahoo:

Looks like Little Mix are performing on Strictly 12th Dec on the semi finals so I am guessing Kylie may have snagged a spot on the Strictly final on 19th Dec......

 

Would be surprised if she isn't on the show this year and when you look at a few of the guests this year then she definitely deserves a spot!

It's Robbie Williams performing on the final, I'm afraid:

Also, I'm having a slight doubt as to whether Kylie will be performing on Jonathan Ross... all the synopsis for the other episodes specifically say "x will be performing in the studio" whereas it doesn't say this for Kylie's episode. I'm sure someone always performs at the end of the show though.

She even performed At Christmas on J Ross, I can't see her not doing something? Or maybe there will be a video clip or two

 

She is always on strictly ........ But hey. I guess Xmas Special is already done too. Oh well.

Well she is on usually if it coincides with an album release she is promoting.......

 

Golden wasn't because it was an April release.

 

The rest of the times she has had an album album out that corresponds with Strictly then she has been on....

Even on the final, Strictly usually only has one guest performer, unlike X Factor where they go all out.

Strictly is not a major concern - I mean she can’t get on everything as much as we might like her too and Strictly whilst is obviously good promo doesn’t seem to have a big impact on the charts.

 

I’m confident other things will pop over the coming weeks as BMG will have a long term plan as well as a Q4 plan

The BBC I’m sure will have a policy of sharing the performance slots out across a range of artists. Kylie had the medley just last year, I’d love to be wrong of course and she performs a song off Disco.

Infinite Disco show has leaked on youtube! I saw it, I thought the vocals, dance, etc. - the whole mood and vibe was spot on. I was quite amazed at how less she talks during the show, unlike a K concert where she's at least a "how you all doing tonight?" kind of thing. I was never a fan of "Monday blues" but it sounds even worse live. Other than that, great set of songlist. I was a bit bummed she didn't perform "Miss a thing", but having heard a podcast just now (I posted the link on the Disco part 2 thread), I can see why. I doubt she'll ever want to sing it live again :D
