Royal Variety Performance has been announced but no sign of Kylie on the line up so far (don't know if there's more to be announced). She usually appears on the bill when she has an album to promote at the time.

I think the fact it’s in Blackpool rather than London this year might have a part to play in it, also BMG would have wanted the slot for Steps - I guess they can’t give everything to Kylie and ignore their other acts :kink: Hoping that this means Kylie will have a slot on another big show to support Christmas sales.

It is only fair they allocate time to their other acts.

Kylie was given 150% dedication from them last week.

Dec 4th is a good time to release a new single, and enough time to release a vinyl for it to to give us an extra Kylie christmas present.

If there was to be a vinyl release, I'd release it in the first week of January following a month on the Radio 2 A-list (assuming its added from the 5th December). That way it builds momentum throughout December (and gives a boost for the album) and the vinyl release allows it to chart when all the Christmas songs have disappeared.
