Great start for Billie. Top 5 debut hopefully Secured.

Expecting Gareth to be out of the top 40/75 after today’s update

Chris Brown having hits in 2020 with terrible song is surprising!!!!

Is it though?

Ultimate ‘terrible’ triple combo - artist, year, song.

Every time Chris Brown seems to be finally declining in relevance he always somehow finds away to get another hit, see also last year when that boring No Guidance was big cos it had a Drake feature.
Does anyone know how to listen to the first look segment yesterday? Obviously searching for first look only brings up the week before so what programme is it on for the first look part?

Omg Creeper! Great to see Fontaines at #1 today

1. Fontaines DC

2. Creeper

3. Taylor Swift

4. Alanis Morissette

5. The Psychedelic Furs

7. Paul McCartney - Flaming Pie (reissue)

14. Max Richter

The Official Charts Midweek Sales Flash is in, and Fontaines DC are off to a flyer in the albums chart.

The Dublin band's second album A Hero's Death has raced clear at No.1 with sales of 14,472, almost 10,000 ahead of nearest challenger Creeper, who are at No.2 with Sex, Death & The Infinite Void (5,030 sales).

Taylor Swift's reigning chart-topper Folklore drops down to No.3, selling 4,680 units, while there are new entries for Alanis Morissette's Such Pretty Forks In The Road (No.4, 3,968 sales), Psychedlic Furs' Made Of Rain (No.5, 2,973 sales) and Paul McCartney's reissued 1997 LP Flaming Pie (No.7, 2,770 sales).

Elsewhere, Billie Eilish has made an instant impact in the singles chart, with My Future (11,714 sales) straight in at No.4. The Top 2 are unchanged - Joel Corry ft. MNEK continuing at No.1 with Head & Heart (29,143 sales) and Savage Love by Jawsh 685 & Jason Derulo (20,926 sales) holding firm at No.2.

Harry Styles leaps 7-3 with Watermelon Sugar (12,857 sales) and Nathan Dawe ft. KSI's Lighter (11,682 sales) dips 4-5.

Yes at Watermelon Sugar being at number 3😁 I hope the album can go back in to the top 10 by Friday...

Do we know the gaps between 2 and 3 for singles??

Nathan Dawe and KSI are #4 on iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music - I think they're set for another week at No.4

I've literally never heard of Fontaines D.C. outside of Buzzjack, I'd be surprised they'd sold so much if it wasn't for a few posters here predicting big sales (and I still am to some extent).

Great to see Paul Woolford top 40 on singles at this early stage anyhow and Jubël looking to go top 10.

As expected easy #1 for Fontaines, nice to see!

hope Alanis remains top 10
