August 6, 20205 yr no one outside of their fanbase will be buying it. I can’t wait for Taylor to trounce them in the charts this week! @n’tAlice Edited August 6, 20205 yr by Cognizant
August 6, 20205 yr Whatever happens it'll be amusing that her team felt threatened by an independent Irish punk band on their second album lol
August 6, 20205 yr I mean, it's Taylor's 2nd week, it's not like they'd have been anywhere near beating her first week.
August 6, 20205 yr Is it actually only the UK where they're releasing the CD early? Lol ~ It seems to be more places now, I’ve seen quite a lot on twitter of people buying the album from stores in the US yesterday
August 6, 20205 yr All you flaking waters who didnt want Fontaines to be #1 suck my dice Taylor Swift didn't funking deserve it again,, PATHETIC just like all you D.C. haters!!!
August 6, 20205 yr I think there situation is different in UK-US cos in the US all the pre-orders for CDs, vinyls, cassettes from her website came with a download so they already counted for week 1 even if shipped later but in the Uk, chart rules are different and only count when shipped, so I guess they're counting now
August 6, 20205 yr This weeks now reminding me of Gaga vs Sports Team A band with a loyal but small by compassion fan base and a massive international female stars second week.
August 6, 20205 yr Sports Team themselves were a lot more involved than Fontaines were IIRC, all they’ve done is retweet the Clash article and haven’t mentioned the price reduction on any of their socials.

Yeah Sports Team are gloriously shameless  the fact Fontaines are of course not from the UK probably plays a part as well

August 6, 20205 yr Have Taylor's physicals not been added yet then? Good to see Creeper should be able to stay top 5
August 6, 20205 yr With the biggest jump being from Tuesday to Wednesday, I think they might have already been added?
August 6, 20205 yr 2.3k physicals are showing for Taylor, whether that's all of them or not remains to be seen.
August 6, 20205 yr It'll be interesting to see how Glass Animals do next week - they've grown quite a lot since their last album in 2016!
