Is LM still top 30?

Yes, it has been on the same position on every update.this week practically, hasn't moved an inch

i don't understand why some of you are pressed over Taylor and EMI's decision. they did what any label would do to get another week at #1. No problem at all. hoping she can get it!

The Coronas are great, there are lots of amazing Irish bands that are huge in Ireland

but never had done anything in the UK (ie The Frames)

I don't really know why they care that much though. It's already been Number One, it'll be Number One again, what is there to prove?

It'd be her first album to spend more than a week at the top in the UK

Perhaps The Coronas could tour with The Vaccines here

Well in this case, the label didn't do it ;)

I really don't think it's a Tesco mistake  I got my copy from Amazon (4th August release) and some of her store orders have been shipped already, it's also available at HMV now

and Taylor deserves an album with more than 1 week at #1 it's crazy she hasn't had it already!

Why does she 'deserve' an album with more than a week at the top? A band like Fontaines DC gettin gto number one could be career changing in terms of radio support for future releases and profile.

folklore is one of the most acclaimed albums of the year, certainly Taylor's most acclaimed, so it being her first album to spend a 2nd week at the top would be amazing. Not saying it wouldn't be amazing for Fontaines too but I think there are different ways to look at it, they're not entitled to the #1 just because Taylor's been there already after all!
And no one said they were just like Taylor isn't entitled to multiple weeks at the top. It would mean ALOT more to a small upcoming indie band.

Of course she isn't, which makes this a fair battle, some posters in here seem very pressed at Taylor daring to want another week at #1... :P

I would argue the opposite the obvious pro Fontaines posters are quite calm and posting facts with their view points whereas the pro Taylor posters are (as per usual) being over dramatic and Stan like at the thought Taylor might miss out on a second week. I mean the first few pages had posts playing down any chance of a second week and the narrative changes as the week developed.

It's all a bit of fun to me anyway as I was LOL at the comments.

Beyond one or two posters I think everyone's been quite calm - nobody actually expected Taylor to be in contention at all after the initial mids as physicals weren't expected until next week, so naturally people have been more interested in whether she'll overtake in the past two days (and, barring a last-minute sales report from her webstore, she won't overtake). If Fontaines get the #1, then good on them, I've got no opinion as I've never heard one of their songs but it's an impressive achievement nonetheless. #2 would also be amazing though, it's not the end of the world if the #1 did get nabbed by Taylor at the last second.

As far as Taylor "deserving" the #1 goes, well I think we all think that about albums we love. I could name loads that I think "deserve" #1 after all, it's not a comment worth overthinking imo

Did you not read the (tongue in cheek) posts by cogni whoever?
