Suspect he will rest a few, it's that double edge sword as they need to rest some players, but also need to play them in to some form and rhytym too. I full expect Fernandes to start and play 75 minutes. Villareal play Saturday I think against Real Madrid.. be interesting to see what they do.

I would be honestly shocked if more than one of the defenders started in the final. This is an out and out b team. I thought exactly the same as you before kick off. Shocked to see such an aggressively B side line up
May 23, 20214 yr Author Crazy how things can change in football, 3 weeks ago Chelsea looked like they were going steamroller everything and now you have to say, they're in pretty terrible form! Don't think it bodes well for the Champions League final. Depends how much City party tonight and tomorrow.. Not surprised 2 out of the 3 teams in the Top 4 battle lost. There's a reason we were all challenging for the Top 4 and that's consistency. Liverpool have had title winning form these past 10 games, which is absolutely crazy when you think about it. Great first 1/3, relegation form for the next 1/3 and then title winning form for the last 1/3 pretty much. Glad to see the back of this season.
May 23, 20214 yr Glad we got into the top 4 but seemed to do it seemlessly in the end but gutted for Leicester, Chelsea always land on their feet. Hope City win the European cup next week now!
May 23, 20214 yr Really unfortunate for Leicester to miss out on top 4 yet again after spending more days than any other team there but it's still been a great season for them after winning the FA Cup. I actually think winning the FA Cup is a better achievement than getting top 4 unless if you end up winning the Champions League. Chelsea should count themselves very lucky. Glad that Man Utd secured the away record even if didn't translate to silverware like it did for the other teams who achieved this, Sheffield United won their one and only match at home with fans in attendance. They are like Jekyll & Hyde when they play in an empty Bramall Lane.
