December 3, 20204 yr Didn’t we roast Leipzig at home? They won’t have fans in their stadium so no German atmosphere to be intimidated by so I think we should pull off another win, or at the very least be able to take our point that we need
December 3, 20204 yr We did yes and that was a huge shock tbf. They just completely gave up in the last 20 minutes and we were uncharacteristically ruthless. I just have a bad feeling that we were completely dominant in this group and now of all a sudden we still have work to do in the last matchday. I'm not sure how Ole will approach it. We can take a draw but I worry if we play for the draw all it takes is a dodgy/marginal decision to go against us. We played very well at times against PSG yesterday so if we can replicate that kind of performance we should be alright...
December 3, 20204 yr Author I have for a long time! Theyre my hometown team. Giving me something to focus on while United are actin like jokers coz I can’t I just can’t. At least I have no hope and expectations with Gladbach. most of my united supporting friends say ‘footballs dead’ nowadays 😂 they had it so good for so long and aren’t used to not winning every year. You’s should support a team that doesn’t win things then you’d would know what being a football fan is like!!
December 8, 20204 yr I can't believe we've managed to f*** it up from not once but twice being in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stage. When we won our first two matches we were halfway there towards making it to the knockout stage, then we went and lost in Turkey and that is the thing that has done the most damage. We only needed ONE point from our last two games and we couldn't even get it. This whole Champions League campaign has been one big cocktease for us and tonight's match just sums it up, my initial feeling when the draw was made was that we wouldn't progress to the next round and it's just been false hope since then. After last season I don't know if I can be bothered with the Europa League in the new year, I would rather we just get knocked out straight away.
December 8, 20204 yr I mean what is it going to take for Ole to be sacked? You are never winning anything with him at the helm, he always finds a way to mess things up. Even with the fluke of a non-penalty and a handball you still couldn't get the draw. It would have been a travesty if Man Utd went through as Ole needs to feel the pain. He is always in a boyant mood after a win completely oblivious to the fact he should be doing much better. I honestly have no idea why he went out for the draw tonight, United cannot play that way. He was absolutely pathetic. As funny as it is and Houdini/Dobbo especially, I know we have good banter at times but I can feel your frustration and annoyance. It's always one step forward and two steps back.
December 8, 20204 yr Paris St-Germain's game against Istanbul Basaksehir will resume on Wednesday after it was abandoned on Tuesday with a match official accused of using a racist term towards one of the away side's backroom staff. Istanbul allege fourth official Sebastian Coltescu used the language towards their assistant coach Pierre Webo. Former Cameroon international Webo was shown a red card in an exchange on the touchline. Istanbul players walked off the pitch in protest, with PSG players following. The incident happened just 14 minutes into the Champions League Group H tie, which was still goalless. The match will recommence on Wednesday from the 14th minute, with a new set of officials. Kick-off will be at 17:55 GMT.
December 8, 20204 yr Im used to 2 steps forward 1 step back with Gladbach but United seem to be consistently inconsistent. It’s 82 steps forward then 107 back and 15 forward and 8 back and I honestly despair. Sacking Ole isn’t the answer tho. The rot runs deep and it doesn’t matter who is in charge on the pitch when the problems begin with the Owners and the CEO. The players that Ole has been bringing in are, largely, excellent. Fernandes for example is the bargain of 2020 and it seriously makes you wonder what could have been achieved had the ownership and CEO not f***ED it in the Summer of 2019 and brought him in then. Sure Ole needs to go, but not before the structure behind the scenes is revamped and Woodward is gone. (Preferably with the glazers gone too) can have any 5 star manager you want in there, same old problems gonna appear time and time again. And now we have a Covid jag can someone develop one for the virus that is PogbaRiola?
December 9, 20204 yr United doing it the hard way again I see! Whats do you think of Bruno this season?
December 9, 20204 yr I had a bad feeling the first 2 wins were a complete false dawn. And as precited it was the loss against Istanbul that put the writing on the wall. Inevitably there'd be just more and more pressure that this current crop of players would buckle under. Leipzig were totally up for this match to get revenge against the 5-0 and came flying out the blocks and it was rabbit in the headlights from there on. The fight back was something at least and they could have easily scored an OG right at the end but I don't think we'd last a minute longer in this tournament even had we got through. And no, I don't honestly believe we'll win anything under Ole but then I don't' believe we'd win anything, even a cup, under any manager right now so I don't think sacking him would make any difference. If we were in Arsenal's position then fair enough but for the mean time at least we're still doing alright in the league and let's be honest, these owners only care about top 4 qualification and the revenue that comes with it. Not about winning anything...
December 9, 20204 yr Author Whats do you think of Bruno this season? Yeh he’s excellent and clearly the player that makes united tick I see Lingard has been offered a new contract 😂
December 10, 20204 yr @1336792232444223490 The joy I feel right now. Indescribable Love for them to draw Liverpool, that would feel like a proper throwback. Just will be a huge shame if there are no/not many fans there.
December 14, 20204 yr Champions League last-16 draw Borussia Monchengladbach v Manchester City Lazio v Bayern Munich Atletico Madrid v Chelsea RB Leipzig v Liverpool Porto v Juventus Barcelona v Paris St-Germain Sevilla v Borussia Dortmund Atalanta v Real Madrid
February 17, 20214 yr Upamecano was horrendous yesterday. I think I have only seen him have one good game. I can see what the fuss is about as he is an amazing athlete and good 1 vs 1 but I think the Premier League teams dodged a bit of bullet with that one. Missed the Barca-PSG game but have seen the highlights, wow that Mbappe third goal was something else! He's already posting the same sorts of numbers that Messi was at a similar age.
February 17, 20214 yr I didn't see any of the matches last night but with 4 away goals you would assume that PSG will definitely be going into the quarter finals. Comical defending from Juventus in conceding the early goal in the first half so far against Porto.
