Biology is another incredible track!! It's probably just outside their top 10 for me so I like it a little less than most, but still adore it. It's so unique and unconventional :wub:

This one is slightly overrated for me. I like the song structure but the chorus doesn't hit quite as much - possibly the least interesting part of the song? Still a tune of course and well done to them for turning such an unconventional song into one of their signature hits.

'Biology' is my second favourite single of theirs :wub: such an idiosyncratic girl-group song! But they pulled it off so well.

Biology remains a completely exhilarating listen 15 years on... it's so unique with its odd structure. Every element of this song is so catchy!

 

I'm glad this gave them a Top 5 hit for the Chemistry era. The public didn't seem quite as on board with them as they had before, which was a shame because Chemistry was such a step up from the first two albums. I think they played it wrong with the single choices overall.

The Show completes my Girls Aloud top 3, what a phenomenal song, and their best music video!!

'The Show' wasn't a huge favourite for me when I was younger but it's grown into something special over the years <3 so dreamy.

I always thought this was overrated too but it's really grown on me in recent times. Not sure why, I think the chorus just worked its way into my head. I really like the guitar line that runs through too, kind of nods to the edginess of their debut despite the obvious 'glow-up' in image and sound.

Love the synthy 80's sound of this! The video is great too. Ridiculously catchy and has always been a highlight!

:wub: The Show! I was absolutely obsessed with this when it came out, it still holds up well today. It was released 16 years ago, I was 16 years old at the time of release... where did the time go? :drama:

 

The music video is cheap and tacky but very endearing :lol:

I remember being so obsessed with The Show, then seeing a teaser for the follow-up single on a music channel and it was a clip of the "come take my hand..." part of Love Machine, so I expected it to be slow!! Imagine my shock when I heard it in full :lol:

Crazy that GA thought this would be career suicide when it has proven to be one of their signature hits! Not an ultimate favourite for me but a lot of fun nevertheless.

As much as this is a classic, it's probably their most annoying for me. I think with every listen, this gets worse for me :lol: :(

A classic! So glad they listened to their record label on this one! Great pop tune accompanied with a cute, easy-to-follow dance routine.
