We all know this show has a lot of fan favourites, but for which do you really not think being a Winner would suit them? - either because it wouldn't suit their image or becase you don't trust them to carry out their duties. To start I'm going to say - perhaps controversially - Alyssa. We know she has her own well-established career already, and also she's been pulled up for being late to shows before and for shirking her responsibilities as a prior pageant winner too. Who else?
August 26, 20204 yr I'd agree with Alyssa! Great character but she's great because she's a bit wacky/in her own world as opposed to someone who always represents the show well. I don't think Courtney Act or Willam would've been great either as they're already known outside of Drag Race and them winning would not seem as special versus a complete unknown getting the limelight, I think their presences on their respective series' was welcome though. Eureka or Kameron Michaels would've been eeek or disappointing so I'm particular glad Aquaria won that one!
August 26, 20204 yr Adore winning would've been the biggest one for me. I understand why she did so well and she obviously made a great name for herself after, but I don't think she was honestly mature enough to represent the brand the way she needed to! Even people like Violet/Aquaria who were VERY young when they won knew exactly what to do with the title!
August 26, 20204 yr Alyssa was not remotely robbed, she was shit at quite a few things on S5. Just because someone has a wacky/"funny" personality and fans like them, doesn't mean they are "robbed" if they don't win. It really annoys me when people say that she was :lol:

August 26, 20204 yr Does anyone think Eureka was robbed though :kink: I agree with Adore. On first watch of Season 6 I loved her and rooted for her to win although that was my first ever season, but on a second watch more recently she was a little sloppy. Perhaps controversially, I'd also say Raven at least in Season 2 :ph34r: What's gone on since hasn't been endearing at all and personality wise she was NOT a fave but Tyra was the clear winner in terms of performance to me. And I didn't even think she was that bad after like episode 5 lmao. I worry that Raven wouldn't be so warmly received in the fanbase today had she won, people would focus on Jujubee being robbed instead.
August 26, 20204 yr Author Season 2 really was messy looking back. I watched it for the first time recently and actually think both Morgan and Sonique could have gone further if the challenges had fallen a better way. Raven was lucky with the challenges and Juju...I'm not sure how I feel about her. She was incredibly likeable but also made a lot of LARGE missteps. As for Tyra... she was undoubtedly skilled, but I found her consistently unlikeable the entire way through and felt she looked down on the other girls.
August 26, 20204 yr Oh don't get me wrong, that first half of the season Tyra was insufferable. :') I agree about Morgan, Sonique was a total non-entity for me on Season 2 but she shone in the Holislay spectacular (someone had to ) and I'd be interested to see her back for AS6. It's weird to think Raven was in the B2 episodes 2 and 3!

Morgan McMichaels definitely had the personality so she was a surprisingly early exit - Tyra was the correct winner although it was close with Raven. Jujubee wasn't robbed however and was a clear third place imo as much as I love her. She really blossomed in the second half of the season whereas she was quite a background character to begin. I kinda liked Tyra as she was very focused and was never catty or insulting of the other girls, she just knew she had worked hard and was good and wasn't there to make friends! Maybe not a TV personality but it really meant a lot to her to win.

August 26, 20204 yr Alyssa wasn't really robbed in AS2 either, you can't look at Alaska's performance throughout and say that Alyssa deserved it over her! I don't think Katya was either, she's one of my faves but Alaska deserved that win. I hate that fans say "x was robbed" just because they wanted them to win and they didn't :lol:
August 26, 20204 yr Author Hard to say whether Tyra deserved it exactly, because the casting felt off... just because she was so clearly in a higher tier runway wise than any of the others. She deserved it by being the best, but it didn't feel deserved like an achievement because she was just able to steamroll past the whole rest of the cast. In season 3 or 4 she would've had trouble dominating as much. Having said that, if there were no immunities, Tyra might've been in the bottom on both the rock challenge and Snatch Game, or at least one of those - two might've taken her out of the running for the win, no? Actually, who would have been eligible to win then? The whole top 4 would've B2'd twice or more by episode 8, except Tati! and she was NOT winner material in S2.
August 27, 20204 yr Plastique Tiara and Rock M Sakura are the first two names that come to mind. Other than them idk who else is undeservingly considered 'robbed'. I know Scarlet Envy, Jan and Gigi are 'robbed', but I do think they are winning material. Also Lemon and *spoiler* ------Jimbo------, and of course Divina De Campo.
