The baby girl, named Daisy Dove Bloom, has arrived. "Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's new bundle of joy," reads a statement from UNICEF. Mom, dad and child are doing fine. “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter," the statement continues. The couple announced the gender of their firstborn back in April with a pink shaving cream covered Instagram post. Perry and Bloom sparked dating rumors in January 2016, when they were seen dancing together at a Golden Globes after party. The two were then spotted on vacations and a number of dates together, before the pop singer made their relationship Instagram official in May 2016. In early 2017, the pair briefly split before reconnecting by the end of the year. In February 2019, the couple Perrybloom was officially engaged, and a year later, Perry announced her pregnancy in her "Never Worn White" music video. Bloom, who shares nine-year-old son Flynn with model Miranda Kerr, previously spoke to the Associated Press about his fiancée's pregnancy. "Aside from the giant belly, you wouldn’t know [she’s pregnant]," the actor said. "She's a force of nature, obviously, as we all know. But it’s been really impressive. There’s no complaining. She’s just all about it. It’s pretty awe-inspiring to see the way she handles herself at this time. It’s just business as usual." With the birth of their "precious gift," Perry and Bloom urged others to support UNICEF in their work supporting a "safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child." August 27, 20204 yr I love that name! :wub: :wub: I’m pleased for her. It seemed like she was pregnant for forever probably bc of lockdown and all that. A good PR move though this could increase her first week streams / sales for sure but amazing news for Katy and the start of a whole new journey for her.
