It's funny how different sales seem to be. Say Something was no 2 at iTunes for one day and already charted in downloads no 9 for the whole week, while Magic had two versions in iTunes top 10 yesterday and it's only 25 in downloads. Obviously, people didn't download that much in general yesterday compared to Say Something's release day.

I love this! Such a cute, breezy song - I can definitely hear the 'Chained to the Rhythm' influence in the instrumental! I think 'Say Something' was perfect as lead single, but this would have sounded excellent at the height of the summer.

 

It definitely sounds like the sort of song that would be a hit if released by someone else.

 

Thrilled to hear we'll be getting a physical release for this too! Really wasn't expecting that. Another bundle that'll help sell the album too.

She had 2 versions of Say Something also. Plus other download sites like Amazon. It seems people started downloading Amazon singles today.

 

Plus people where pre ordering album more with Say Something was this to do with it?

 

Could have been a slow week. Who knows what difference is between 9 and 25 in downloads chart?

I almost wished they had bundled it with a DISCO CD or cassette to get those extra album sales rather than just being able to buy it on its own. Although hopefully that will help the singles get more sales - potential 2 Kylie singles in the charts on album release week :cheer:
