Nope! 'Holiday' actually took about 2-3 weeks more than BUS did iirc!!

 

I personally can't see them discounting. They'll probably get Little Mix to tweet out to buy the Children In Need single at some point. I really can't see the #1 for them this week, so I'd rather they just kept the momentum as it is (maybe a couple of places higher) but properly push for it the week after!

It’s exciting to see SM doing so well, I remember someone posting before that they will never get another top 3 hit if they don’t get put on today’s top hits, and then when Holiday debuted at 17 but eventually peaked at 15 I was beginning to think they aren’t gonna get top 3 again! But here we are and I’m really pleased for them.

 

The only other girl group I remember getting to 6 studio albums is Sugababes (on their 3rd lineup aswell) and that era was the start of their decline, I think confetti could outsell catfights and spotlights within the first 2 weeks perhaps! Go Little Mix! ��

More Importantly as someone said earlier this means they would of had a top 5 hit off of every album :wub:

 

Also it's still pulling ahead of #2 on iTunes.

Yeah it’s doing so well on iTunes, gained ANOTHER 5% and hasn’t even been discounted. :o

 

Seriously girls forget the album just get the single to number 1 and the album will smash anyway.

Ya a number 1 single would really boost their profile again.

The public don't really know what's #1, just what's a smash and what isn't. As long as they have a long lasting hit with this it doesn't matter too much what number it goes to. Obviously I'd love a #1.

Just realized billie will likely debut ahead of it tomorrow won't she? On Spotify. So it's unlikely that this will climb.

I am... not so certain. I can see that last dull song of Billie's killing off a bit of hype from her. I didn't even know she had a new song until my housemate just came in so clearly it's not being particularly spoken about.

The Billie song really isn’t her best at all and she’s released it already so that’ll be loads of iTunes sales lost.

Billie is a strong streamer though, but I agree after hearing the song, I genuinely can't see it doing too much.

If she does debut higher than this on Spotify it definitely won’t be there for long.. I’ve now heard the song and she will need a stronger song than that for her to get a big hit again imo!

I know they did them with Bounce Back, but I feel like Sweet Melody is such a moment it deserves it's own physical format (Not of each member but just one standard format)
