I think all streams will start increasing again in the next few days.

They need 25% more so that’s like 160k per day as opposed to 120k at the moment.

Edit: what Joel said above lol

It's a bit more complicated because they need a 25% increase in comparison to the market's increase.

So if they manage to do 25% more daily streams next week than on this one, it won't matter if the whole market has a 15% increase, for instance, I think.

It's a shame we were robbed off more weeks top 5 for Sweet Melody because of Christmas and the label didn't even give us one week of a discount during its peak to get it to #1 or #2.

WOW!

I completely forgot about the Market increase!

i was just thinking about them managing a 25% increase in streams.

Sadly probably isn't possible but It looks like It'll still stay top 20 at least.

Can't they just request a reset 😭. Annoying if this doesn't smash as much as it should
I know it’s difficult to say at the moment without seeing the midweek but where do we think this will end up in the chart this week?

It's more likely there will be a 15% decrease in the market than an increase  That's the reason everything got reset after Christmas last year, the overall market crashed so hard that an increase of just ~7% (iirc) was enough for a reset as opposed to the usual 25%.

OH amazing! They could do it then as it's back to #1 on Amazon, #3 on Apple and 12 on Spotify.

Streaming everything now haha!

Remixes, Acoustic...

Why are they so low? It’s a bit bizarre. Yesterday the #1 song in the UK wouldn’t have enough streams to be in the Top 50 in Brazil.

Apparently it’s 26 in the mids. Could it be possible that it avoided ACR as i was expecting a bigger drop than that?? Probs wishful thinking

Edit: Just seen the post above lol yay!

Yep I feel like it had to have avoided it as positions is 77 and midnight sky 88 😮

I just saw that! Surely it’s avoided as it would have had a similar drop 😯 Wow

YESSS c'mon girls re-peak next week *.* (not getting too excited about #1 yet unless they do something as Ed Sheeran isn't too far behind them)

Dddd I thought this was all over but...

Sweet Melody seems to have somehow avoided ACR (it's the highest non-Christmas song in the midweeks at #27), while Positions hasn't ( is #77), which means it has a HUGE shot at #1 next week. I know the label seem a bit clueless; but a discount next week and physical would easily have them snatch it.

If they did those things, they'd probably make the #1, otherwise, sadly, the label are handing the #1 to biggest competition which is probably *sigh* Ed Sheeran.

It's a shame New Years playlists won't help them as I'd assume they'd get a huge boost from NYE party playlists.

Urgh I hate to be a pessimist but I can already see Ed being number one next week.. I really hope I’m proved wrong
