If ACR wasn't a thing and this stayed top 10 this week, I believe it would have matched All Saints - Never Ever girl group top 10 record...

#16! So they wouldn't have matched/beaten All Saints record. But the fact they drove it close 9 years into their career is insane!

This still has done incredibly well.

 

Even though we all knew it was a huge song I never in a million years thought it would have snatched a number 1 and had the chart run it’s had.

 

Hopefully there’s a couple more weeks top 40, then onto the first Trio single.

Any updates on UK sales for this hit and for the album ?

Single must be just shy of 500,000 and the album must be around 152,000.

Is there any chance this could make the cut for the BRITs? Ugh I fear there isn't but it deserved a nomination :(

I really think they'll overlook the traditional rules this year and add it. They get a lot of hype whenever they post about LM and 'Sweet Melody' was a huge enough hit to be included I think and it not be an anomaly.

 

We'll see though. I'd LOVE them to win for this. It really is a fantastic song!

I think Dua will easily win but I'd be over the moon with a nomination already.

 

What I really want is for them to finally win best group and they really deserve it for 2021.

This is so stable on Spotify UK. It finally left the Top 50 earlier this week and still managed to climb back into it yesterday. I know it'll probably drop out again since it's a Friday etc but still impressive.
