April 10, 20241 yr Author I only found out recently this peaked at #18 :o I remember buying the cassette of this in Asda back in '01 and it honestly felt like the song was everywhere even if for a short period of time. Were Bellefire expected to do a lot better with it? I quite enjoy the song on relisten. tj_NusoGJa4
April 10, 20241 yr 'Perfect Bliss' is such a great song. Also got the CD for it. I did know it didn't go top 10 or 15 at the time though probably cause the radio was on. Even when there was no online midweeks as such then lol.
April 10, 20241 yr Author I didn't listen to the radio at that point. :kink: I always thought it was a cute #4-#6 hit or something.
April 10, 20241 yr All I Want Is You also peaked at No.18 :( I loved both. They got a reasonable push at the time, but I can't remember it being expected to go top 10, maybe top 15.
April 10, 20241 yr Love Bellefire's singles. --- Stacie Orrico - (There's Gotta Be) More To Life #12 wUOcQnWbk_U Still blows me away this only got as high as #12! - Linkin Park - Crawling #16 Gd9OhYroLN0 This always felt like one of those #5/#6 peak hits to me! My favourite Linkin Park song! - Linkin Park & Jay-Z - Numb/Encore #14 DLlF2FMv968 This was an absolute MONSTER of a hit. I assume a lot of people would have thought it was a top 10 hit, it really felt like one. Looking at it's chart run it is insane that it didn't get a top 10 peak! Instead it ended up at #14... THREE times! That chart run is even crazier when you realise it's a 2004/2005 era single. In fact Linkin Park have quite a few sogs which you probably assumed would have been top 10 hits. 'One Step Closer', 'Papercut', 'Faint' and even the original 'Numb' (which also got to #14!)
April 10, 20241 yr Author @Tafty - yes to Stacie Orrico (I think I put it in the OP) it seemed like a massive hit at the time (going by its airplay on music channels lol).
April 10, 20241 yr Author OMG you did! Sorry! (You also even mentioned Linkin Park - Numb lmao!) Oh by all means mention them again  both are fantastic tracks  Stacie’s I’m Not Missing You was also a gem but not shocked that missed the top 10
