I feel fully invested in these people.. I would actually cut Arun and keep the rest as a group lol.

Although I'm annoyed they cut the 2 most diverse people.

That was nowhere near as good as last night's episode, but they ended up with the perfect line-up at the end. You can tell the chemistry's there and Jordan, Melina, Rosie and Liam were the four I was hoping for.
I didn't enjoy the talent this episode as much as yesterday's but I'm still into the format very much. They've chosen the best line-up for the second episode in a row too, they really did trim the fat and chose the best four for the group!

That episode was so much better than last nights.

The final group was the perfect decision  So talented!!

I honestly thought Liam was a bit too shouty and irritating, so I was hoping he wouldn't make it. But, with those 3... it just WORKS. So I'm intrigued so much to hear them 4 as a group, because their chemistry together is already strong.

Another good episode with the perfect final group. The performance songs during the concert auditions have been good too.

'Finesse' for the boyband and 'Cake By The Ocean' for the mixed group.

Still think the rehearsal stage feels a little rushed but I understand the need to focus on the auditions in order for viewers to connect with the contestants and ultimately root for them.

Yeah the right 4 were picked. Although the twins and Arun had technique wise the best voices, the other 4 had so much more chemistry and performance wise. Also I think Melina has such star quality and she is my number one out of every auditioner so far from ep 1 and 2.

Just catching up, why is Rosie putting on that ridiculous accent when she sings??
Just finished and whilst I’m not keen on Rosie’s voice I do think those four had the best chemistry!

another great episode and enjoying this show so much, it just makes me smile and it's so well done

Yep that was easily the best line-up possible and the one I was rooting for :cheer: You could tell those 4 just had the chemistry & worked as a group when they sang together during the rehearsal part!

Small silver lining here aa BBC have been trying to get the younger ratings up for a while.

It's jumped from 6 to 3 on Most Popular on iPlayer, which means it may well pick up some decent consolidated viewings, too.

The fact it was one of the BBC's highest rated shows for viewers 16-34 (the auduence I assume they were aiming for) kinda suggests that that audience don't really watch TV live anymore, so unless you appeal to an older demographic (something as niche as finding a support act for Little Mix's next tour won't be enough) then you have no hope for prime time TV.

Now I know it was one of the BBC's most viewed shows for that demographic, I'm kinda happy with the ratings? This just makes it clear to me that (most of) our age group just don't watch live TV anymore.

I over estimate the older demographic and they'd obviously prefer to watch something like The Chase/Tipping Point over a talent show that is trying to find the next group to support a young and successful girl group on tour.

Sorry Im on my phone so I dont know if that makes any sense lmao - will re-read when I get home.

Edit: Also in general that is a v strong hold.

When does BGT finish? It would do well not to clash on Saturdays.

Also, am I right in thinking strictly will start on the 24th? So the last two weeks of episodes will benefit from the Strictly lead-in

Consolidated rating: 2.1 million. Only adding around 300,000 viewers on catch up :(
