Summer of 75 was all about Europop from holiday discos as the UK pop music scene went into drivel-mode. Guess you had to be there :lol:

 

I don't use the Spotify playlists so it was definitely the proper version! (Aside, I am a little confused as to how 'covers' of the song can exist when it has barely any lyrics to begin with... :lol:)

I had a hunch Mulgracia would finish low down, I had them higher up my rankings to start with but a lot of songs grew on me more whilst this didn't, same for Hushky :( Why So Sirius actually climbed into my points though so shame to see that out already!

* more consecutive entries (15 for Kluminican Republic, 13 for Hendinia and Ojnoj, 6 for Taahino, 4 for Mosquetania) have qualified but these streaks were broken by breaks from the contest

 

After sharing the lead with Hushkanukia and Jadakissnia for the past 4 contests, Altyr Muunilinst now find themselves on their own at the top of the list as the other two both DNQed this month while Altyr marched forward to a 15th consecutive final, beating their national record which they matched last month in the process. Moving up to second place as the only other nation who have appeared in all of the last 10 finals is Ojnoj (who are only one month away from matching their best of 14 consecutive qualifiers, although it'll be a couple more months before they'd be able to match their consecutive contests record) while United States of Jack take third place (after nearly not entering at all this month). Mosquetania also expand their records again making it to 3 finals in a row and 4 qualifying entries in a row and Kluminican Republic expand their record in non-consecutive contests again as well, remaining tied with Altyr Muunilinst if we ignore the gaps. They are only one month away from matching their consecutive contests record.

 

Jupiterdonia and Republic of Adonia both match their record qualifying streaks as both reach a 7th final in a row - Jupiterdonia previously did this in BJSCs 107-113 and Republic of Adonia in BJSCs 86-92. Republic of Adonia still need 1 more to match their non-consecutive contests record as they followed their previous record with an eighth qualifier in a row in BJSC 94 (after being banned from BJSC 93, naturally xx). Pagasa also match their 'record' of 1 as they finally make a final again, having only previously done so in their debut in BJSC 82. Lookylion of course likewise qualify on their first attempt getting straight onto the board with their own 1 'streak'.
