October 19, 20205 yr Good to see beabadoobee in the top 5! And I'm pleasantly surprised with The Struts' being that high after their previous albums made #52 and #77
October 19, 20205 yr ...and let's not forget that January is only a few months from now and it will most likely get a reset and go top 20 again :cheeseblock: Please no. Hoping for very few post Christmas resets this year due to the 25th being on a Friday
October 19, 20205 yr I'm properly shocked at The Struts showing up at number four, given that their first two albums failed to go top 50 :o guessing they should be comfortable for top ten. It's my least favourite album of theirs though, oops. They only sold 38 copies yesterday, think they'll slip quite easily out of the top 10 I'm afraid!
October 19, 20205 yr Author pretty good for beabadoobee, hoping she stays in the top 10 but that may be unlikely once all the streaming-lead albums catch up
October 19, 20205 yr Daniel o donnell keeping his record going for another year having an albums chart ever single year for over 20 years, this could be one of his highest peaks, i though the vamps might be on more than they are right now so i cant really see them selling much more than 20k. Am hoping miley cyrus, sigala, clean bandit and dermot kennedy can hold and all achieve new peaks this week.
October 19, 20205 yr They only sold 38 copies yesterday, think they'll slip quite easily out of the top 10 I'm afraid! Ouch! Possibly even out of the top 20 then, based on last week's sales. It will still become their highest charting album, though I wish it was as good as the last two.
October 19, 20205 yr was reality expecting Vamps to be doing double than that Really? Even with multiple formats, they've not had a hit single in years at this point (and they actually have fewer formats than the last album). 10k is really good for them at this stage on a Monday and it's a comfortable second #1 for them! I certainly wasn't expecting much more at this point.
October 19, 20205 yr Oh, that dreary Tate shit is going top 3 isn't it? :( Didn't expect beabadoobee to be that high. :o I've only heard one song but I really quite like it! I'd like Sigala to stay top 10, but I won't be overly bothered if it doesn't.
October 19, 20205 yr Come on Daniel - you can do it! OCC says, Irish country singer Daniel O’Donnell has had a Top 10 album in each of the last 29 years, and he could claim his highest charting yet this week. New album Daniel is Number 2 midweek and is set to give him his landmark 40th Top 40 album.
October 19, 20205 yr When will your faves and all that :D Well, ironically January this year it was one of the very few old songs that *didn't* get a reset.
October 19, 20205 yr Only You Freestyle back in as Headie’s 3rd song at #48 so I’m guessing it’s been reset. Train Wreck also in at #82, unsure if this is on ACR or not. Oh and Baby Shark at #93
October 19, 20205 yr Would be funny to see Bernard Butler getting a top 40 album the week after Suede had one, although I fear his collaboration with Catherine AD will fall out of the top 40 come Friday.
October 19, 20205 yr Only You Freestyle back in as Headie’s 3rd song at #48 so I’m guessing it’s been reset. Train Wreck also in at #82, unsure if this is on ACR or not. Oh and Baby Shark at #93 Train Wreck is indeed on ACR
October 19, 20205 yr ...and let's not forget that January is only a few months from now and it will most likely get a reset and go top 20 again :cheeseblock: I'd be surprised if we get nearly as many automatic resets as we did this January, due to Christmas being at the start of a chart week this year - also New Year's Eve is a Thursday, so with most streams estimated there'll be less of a NYE effect.
October 19, 20205 yr Yes I think Lasting Lover will unfortunately be the song that drops out of the Top 10 replaced by See Nobody Looks like this will come to pass :( Maybe next week Tick Tock will go to ACR and Lasting Lover can take its place
October 19, 20205 yr I'd no idea Katie Melua even had an album out but what an uninspiring title for it.
October 19, 20205 yr The Struts :cheeseblock: Came here hoping they'd be in the T100 and didn't expect that, obviously they won't stay there but surely that's gonna be a crazy chart increase on their last two albums. Young & Dangerous deserved better. Edited October 19, 20205 yr by XhannahlongX
October 19, 20205 yr Grr at Mood even on ACR still ahead of Lasting Lover. <_< If only Sigala had listened to my advice and had reduced the single's price on iTunes. :drama: EDIT: Why is Train Wreck on ACR? Is older than 3 years? Edited October 19, 20205 yr by Jason
