I love this new remix! I can see why people are disappointed there's not more Dua - I was expecting Dua to have her own verse too - but I think it's the fault of these insiders for not giving the full picture and allowing fans to get ahead of themselves. I agree with SmileyKylie that this was a quick way of reacting to the response of Dua's Studio 2054 gig; maybe they could have spent a bit longer and given Dua her own verse, but ultimately this is just a remix rather than necessarily being pushed as the main version. It also could be the case that a more substantial input from Dua wouldn't have had much more success than what this will achieve anyway.

 

The new production is sublime and I think even just having Dua as backing vocalist really enhances the chorus. I loved them singing together for Studio 2054 and wanted to hear more, so this is perfect for me.

i am very critical when i want to be. But this is a Kylie Minogue song with a little addition from Dua Lipa because she sang it at Dua's livestream. It is not a huge collab, huge release, it is a little bonus to get a few more streams for a Kylie track as well as release because Kylie and Dua fans ASKED for it!!! everyone loved the collab on the livestream a few weeks ago, Dua only sang the chorus then too.....

 

if you cant hear Dua all the way through this song then i am not sure what device you are listening on. the voices blend nicely and little ad libs of Kylie "Dua got the Real Groove" "Kylie!" "Studio 2054" all nice additions.

Neither is this, it's Kylie with Dua's rehearsal vocals in the background, not Kylie X Dua. This is not what Dua fans wanted at all! We wanted an amazing collab not just a little extra for the Kylie fans to stream.

I was expecting a proper collab so I'm disappointed in this. The original is good though and it's nice to have a new version even if it is a bit underwhelming.

Totally this! We’ve seen it so many times when social media go hysterical for Kylie collabs only for them to disappoint, not because they are not good but because they have been hyped way out of proportion.

 

We saw it with the Sigala and Tove Lo collabs too.

I'm loving this. Don't find it underwhelming at all. I can clearly hear Dua on every chorus and the last one she sings on her own.

I have to blame Genius for my disappointment cos they posted (wrongly) that Dua had a co-write so everybody was expecting a new verse and much more input and participation

turns out she's on the same situation as Haim in their collaboration with Taylor, just singing backing vocals in a very very very distant background, Dua has been HAIMed :D

She is singing every chorus with Kylie and also the last chorus on her own with a few ad libs. I don't know where it how people are listening to this and not hearing Dua.... it's not distant at all
