I did.

 

I put all 6 tracks on a playlist on repeat and left it streaming for a few hours with volume lower

 

Still think those numbers are very low remixes or not.....

 

 

They’re unknown remix artists I’m not surprised. Even fans wouldn’t rush to listen to them though I wouldn’t be surprised if both versions grow over the coming weeks. The YouTube numbers are tiny too.

Oh well.......

Nice that it’s been done for the Aussie/International fans so that they get a chance to get a copy, she also emailed out to the Aussie mailing list to tell them it was available.

Great there is more available, they must be doing it in phases now they have more again,great way to build up sales.

on a side note i cannot believe they will only release one EP of remixes which gets 5,900 streams per day on its first day on Spotfiy. Surely there is another bundle to come with some bigger remixers? After all the remixes are their purposely to add streaming numbers and with Santa Baby dropping off quickly from last month and Dua Lipa remix will start to do the same in next few weeks her Spotity monthly listeners will be back below 6 million in no time.

 

i am sure BMG have plans for the whole of 2021 to be honest :) A timely EP for when the vinyl comes out ? eventhough i still think a remix/reissue album may come out that week

No surprise it sold out quickly.

The EP has been a bit of a waste to be honest.

 

Real Groove going to struggle unless they release another set of remixes with bigger names. Even an acoustic would have done a lot better

 

To get only 9,000 worldwide streams in 2 days of release is shocking poor for a song that everyone is supposed to love. Even the Dua remix got no more extra streams but is still streaming good numbers for Kylie 3 weeks after release.

They probsbly paid Cheap Cuts and Claus hardly anything.

 

Still think more to come, but I wish they would let us know, hopefully she will this morning on Dermot radio show.

 

Real Groove is added to Groove Spotify Playlist at the top of the list with 260k listeners which is good.

Good to hear Kylie say the remix with Dua Lipa was completely re-recorded

 

Not much else new though....

 

 

I think you placed too much emphasis on the importance of an EP and remixes being key in boosting the single. I knew they’d not do much. It’s too much of an uphill struggle for an artist like Kylie, with limited streaming support as it is, to do miracles with a couple of remixes for a third single.

 

Even if an EP was released, it would have a very temporary and minimal overall effect anyway. I get the desire for it if you’re incredibly keen to hear a couple of new remixes, but from a chart point of view it’s really not that important. If Real Groove is destined to do well, it’ll be down to the Dua version and album version.

The 2nd batch of vinyl sold out yesterday - some would of course been sold to UK fans as it was available for nearly 24 hours so could randomly return to the Top 100 in April when its released

....so plays continue to rise on 117 stations....audience down slightly.

She said in todays interview Real Groove was completely re-recorded and they tried to make it sound a bit like it Did in the livestream.

 

Maybe Warner will push it a bit too soon.

 

She never said where she was in the interview haha. Did anyone ever see her in Australia?
