So 'Confetti' (track) has had it's time revealed on iTunes or something. That usually indicates a release is very soon. A lot of speculation thinking it's going to be after they've performed the track on The Search tonight.

 

So in case, here is a thread for that Instant Grat!

I really wanted them to hold off. As confetti is meant to be the next upper tier song on the album. So they're gonna by the time we get the album it'll be the (hopefully solid) but not as good stuff. And only half an album.

They’re obviously wanting to get as much pre-orders as possible but they’ve really dropped so much of the album off before release!

.. This isn’t a good idea imo. There’s only a week left and Sweet Melody has JUST been released. It would be better for them to focus on SM now and make sure it’s stable for week 2 and then push this is on NMF on release week if they wanna do something with it.

 

All these promo singles are very good for pre orders etc but it kinda ruins the first listen for me. It’s just gonna be half an album of new songs and apparently the ones already released are the “better” ones so i’m worried the ones left won’t be as good..

But i guess that’s just more a personal thing aha^^

If they are indeed performing it tonight, that'll be my only listen of it. I'm not gonna listen to the single coz I want as much of the album listening experience as possible.

 

I will be putting myself on a LM self-imposed listening ban (except the singles ofc) this week.

I’m hoping we’re surprised and the second half of the album impresses us as well, I have a feeling this might happen.

If it means them getting a #1 I’m all for it being dropped after the performance, if thats even happening?!! Probably be NAPS or Happiness to be honest.

 

Personally though, they should of released NAPS as a promo single, had a week off to tease SM dropped SM and then released Confetti as a promo single now before the album.

 

In fact, do we think the schedule changed because obviously they missed the first lives so ended up releasing an extra promo single?

Hopefully this means we’re not getting the song anymore. As much as I am v excited to hear the song, I’d much rather they stay off releasing anymore songs and just give us snippets.

On first listen I like it. I do think it could've varied instrumentally a bit more, an instrumental break or a change up in the second verse or something could've made things interesting! Oh well, good album track if it remains that!
