It's a Q4 release so Disco will have limited weeks to sell but how many copies can it achieve in 2020?

I'm going with 80,000+

I've been very brave and gone 100,000 , only because there maybe 20,000 unwanted Xmas presents bought hahah

 

Actually forgot shops probably won't be open until new year so. Maybe 75-80k

About 90-100k. I hope it sells more but lockdown will impact significantly on album sales for Kylie sadly.

i think week 2 sales may suffer big time with no shops open. Hopefully she has some promo lined up, i know she is doing something for Children In Need. Would love if she got The Voice UK final some kind of promo for that?

The opening sales will include bulk pre-orders though which are always inflated as many fans tend to buy multiple formats. Week 2 sales will give a clearer indication of how well the album will perform longer term.

Has anyone’s original prediction changed? I still think it will reach 100k as potentially this week it’s could be close to 70k by Friday.

 

It would then need to average about 6k a week after to achieve 100k which seems doable.

I’m gonna also say 100k now!

 

I think it’ll sell well over the festive period and I still think there’s big promo slots to come this era in the lead up to Christmas :)

I have only voted on this now but I can honestly see it doing 110k or even 120k+

 

If it’s hitting 70k in the second week potentially, I can see the sales slowly creeping up & getting a good boost in the lead up to Christmas if they do open the shops again after the month’s lockdown is over. I can see all albums having a nice sharp sales rise from Dec 3rd onwards, but it obviously depends on whether they keep the shops shut or not.

With how things are looking this week she def looks with a great chance of making 100k by the end of the year, if she does 15k this week she will be at 70k there or abouts.

100k pretty much guaranteed i would say, especially if shops do re-open on 2nd Dec and people want to buy presents etc.

 

 

 

 

Can’t remember how I voted but I’m confident of over 120k given the opening week and the fact she should sell 15,000 (depends on stock and carry over sales) this week.......that takes Disco to over 70,000 with 6 decent sales weeks to come.

 

It’s a tough old market out there, not in the slightest bit helped by HMV being closed, even for click and collect.

I think it should be over 120k too.

Looking at SayHey a few people have had bundles held back due to this so there could be a few extra sales to add, although they have started sending the bundles without the deluxe which will be sent later.

 

There will be other promotion to come and possibly a new video/single sent to radio.

 

If it does clear 70k this week, it would ‘only’ need to sell 8,300 for the next 6 weeks to pass 120k which seems highly achievable given the fact this album is clearly crossing over from just the core fanbase.
