Sweet Melody and Break Up Song to snatch top 10 placements!

Hoping Only You and Woman Like Me can do a bit better this time! Maybe the lack of recency effect will help? Also as much as I like it, Love Me Like You does seem pretty high considering the songs just below it.

One I've Been Missing to be our new wooden spoon pls!

Sweet Melody needs to win this!
'Sweet Melody' to debut very high indeed! I am obsessed.

Highest Scores: UltraFolklore (10) | XhannahlongX (08)
Lowest Scores: colinn & jsweetxe (-01) | TheSmiler, Cameron & TheArchitect (01)

Finishing in last place is their Sport Relief single Word Up! A fun, cover single for charity, but ultimately when it's stacked next to their singles, it really, REALLY sticks out as a single choice. They really should've pushed an album track as the SR single instead. The video is one of their very best though! SO much fun!
'Word Up!' is far from a career highlight but definitely doesn't deserve last :o their version is quite fun, especially when paired with the video!

Up next at #25 is their Christmas single One I've Been Missing. Whilst it might be disappointing that they didn't give us the 'Santa Tell Me', 'Underneath The Tree' or 'One More Sleep' type Christmas BANGER (that they're clearly capable of giving to us!) and gave us a cute, winter warmer instead, I think this gets a hard time. It's gorgeous and gives me Xmas vibes!

At #24 is the song that boosted their chart career. Cannonball was the coronation single from the girls after they became the first group to win X Factor... EVER. It's a cute coronation single, but that's pretty much it. It's probably one of the best coronation singles though. Top 5 at the very least. Would love if they performed this on their next tour, but I know how the girls feel about it :')
An understandable bottom 3, although I really enjoyed 'Word Up' at the time.

Lowest Scores: Wall (00) | Cameron (01)

Next we have a NEW ENTRY. Bounce Back makes it's debut at #23 in their singles rate. It's unsurprising as this track seems like it's very marmite. You're either gonna HATE it or bop along to it. It's an ear worm and infectious. It's a shame the girls seemed so confident in it though as the promo was stellar, but it just didn't connect with anyone besides the girls themselves :(

22. Little Me [AVG. 6.32]
Singles Rate History: [8-12-20-19-22]

Highest Scores: ...ready for it (10) | Zak & XhannahlongX (09)
Lowest Scores: Billy. (03) | shadow2009, xan, 365, shindymindy, Wall & tomwright123 (04)

Little Me was the 2nd single taken from their 2nd album, 'Salute'. It went on to be a top 20 hit, but unfortunately that's all. It's a nice song, but sometimes that's just not enough. It takes another bump in average rating, but manages to out perform 2 new entries. I personally think this should've just been left as an album track. 'Towers' or 'These Four Walls' should have been in it's place, imo. The video is very anti-climatic too, would've love a burst of colour and flowers growing around the girls as Leigh hit's her note!

Lowest Scores: colinn (02) | jlj (03)

Just missing out on the top 20 is the 3rd single from their 'DNA' album... it's the feel-good mid-tempo anthem, Change Your Life. It's a good song and I can definitely see why it was chosen to be a single, especially after seeing their performance of it on Children In Need on the week of the albums release (or thereabouts). They've since evolved and adapted this whole sound and message with fan favourites like 'Nothing Else Matters', 'The Cure' & most recently 'Breathe' from their new album 'Confetti'!

We'll kick start the top 20 tomorrow!

But I think it's safe to say the more predictable/no real surprises have all dropped out.

How is Bounce Back not last?
