12. Salute [AVG. 8.29]
Singles Rate History: [4-5-5-10-12]

Highest Scores: The Smiler, shindymindy, The Architect, Jade, Tafty, ...ready for it, troylovesmusic, Liam.k, Cremey & AaronTM (10) | caseclosed, Liam, Cameron, JosephStyles, XhannahlongX, MixedUp & Davidson (09.5)
Lowest Scores: Rossco (-01) | jsweetxe (04)

Falling out of the top 10 (just - there are 2 new entries still to come!) but receiving an increase in average is the final single from the album with the same name Salute. One of the biggest female empowerment songs I think I have ever heard, no hyperbole. It's such a brilliant and attention grabbing song and I'm so, SO happy they didn't gloss over this despite 'Little Me' not doing great and 'Word Up!' majorly bombing. Glad they took a chance on this and it's paid off for them! Brilliant song.

11. Reggaetón Lento (CNCO & Little Mix) [AVG. 8.35]
Singles Rate History: [x-x-8-7-11]

Highest Scores: Rossco, xan, JosephStyles, tomwright123, XhannahlongX, UltraFolklore, Slick & AaronTM (10) | troylovesmusic (09.5)
Lowest Scores: ...ready for it (03) | jlj (04)

Just missing out on the top 10 is Reggaetón Lento. A huge average for a song placed in 11th though, but unfortunately it's a big drop in position and a steep-ish drop in average, but it's a banger. It was a nice change of pace seeing them jump on an already existing track as opposed to the other way round and it didn't fail to deliver. Jumping on the biggest musical trend at the time (reggaetón anthems) but managing to bring in their own flavour to the mix. The only disappointment with this is the video... both groups are insanely talented dancers, so why didn't we get a choreo heavy video? Such a shame, but this is a banger!

Top 10 tomorrow!

Black Magic

Break Up Song

DNA

Love Me Like You

Move

No More Sad Songs (feat. Machine Gun Kelly)

Power (feat. Stormzy)

Secret Love Song (feat. Jason Derulo)

Sweet Melody

Touch

That's our top 10! Any surprises? Would you replace any of them?

'Salute' out of the top 10? :drama: that is still one of my absolute favourite Little Mix songs - what an anthem *.*

'Reggaetón Lento' was a surprisingly great contribution to the 2017 Latin trend but 11th feels about right considering what's left.

Soooo glad that 'DNA' has made the top 10 despite a -1 <3

Salute would definitely be in my Top 10, probably instead of Black Magic. But the other 9 I would place there
I’m surprised Love Me Like You is still in tbh . I like it but I feel stronger tracks have left before it.

Edited by troylovesmusic

My 3 fave singles are still in so pleased to see that- LMLY, Move and Sweet Melody

Hair is such an awful song I'm pleased to see that finish so low

Love Me Like You

Move

No More Sad Songs (feat. Machine Gun Kelly)

Power (feat. Stormzy)

Secret Love Song (feat. Jason Derulo)

Would you replace any of them?

I'd replace the above.

Almost perfect Top 10. I’d replace Secret Love Song and Move with Think About Us and Reggaetón Lento
14. Woman Like Me (feat. Nicki Minaj) [AVG. 7.70]

Highest Scores: ...ready for it (11) | 365, Frenchie, troylovesmusic & Slick (09)

I gave this a 9 as well! Woman Like Bop *.*

It's a shame Shout Out to My Ex continues to be polarizing, for me it's such a moment! I truly think it's one of their very best, and one of the best singles of the 2010s (by anyone!). Definitely doesn't surprise me that it's their most successful single (2nd highest selling girl group single of all time behind Wannabe!)

I gave this song an 8 and Touch is my 11.
Dunno what happened there!! (Touch isn't affected, I have that as an 11 for you aha - I just don't get how I messed that one up for you )

I just missed you off the list, so thankfully I have the right score!

Sorryyyyy!

Actually, it turns out that they weren't 9's in the first place... they were the 10's (so you wasn't missed off aha). But now that 11 is no longer there, I have just edited to include the scores of 9.5 and 9! :D

There's a few tweaks here and there but generally this countdown has been near enough to my personal rank! Only biggie is 'Salute' not being Top 10 - always thought that was regarded as one of their best, but I suppose, judging by those top scores, it still is and it's only a few haters taking it down.

I thought I might have been one of the few people not to be really into 'Shout Out to My Ex' as much as you'd expect to be for their biggest seller so it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a good song (I gave it a 7) but even at the time of release I didn't think it was amazing. The lyric "hope she's getting better sex" didn't really sit right me either.

The biggest surprise in the top 10 for me is "No More Sad Songs". It always surprises me that it's one of their more acclaimed singles because I find it to be a bit bland for them. It's nice and I wouldn't skip it if it came on, but I would probably put it in the bottom half of "Glory Days".

I'm backing "Move" or "DNA" for the win please, probably the former.

No More Sad Songs is euphoric. As Pippa would say, it's wonderful.
NMSS got my 11 so it better not be out yet! Every time I hear that song I feel 500% better than before I heard it. That's what I want from Pop music.
