Yep, it's stable. Needs to start making moves on Spotify now that their numbers are starting to pick up again, tho.

 

I wonder if now that Confetti 100% cant be number 1 this week, there will be a streaming party for No Time For Tears at some point in the next couple of days? Tomorrow is focussing in getting SM on TTH but on Wednesday there could def be a push for NTFT to get a push! In a bid to capitalise on the planned buying on iTunes/Amazon push!

They announced they would be doing a mass buy event in time for NTFT on impact week (I assume physicals week?) it's no good organising one for this week, having it fall the following week and having no funds to capitalise on the impact week/when everyone else has already bought their copies etc..

 

I'm holding off from buying all versions until physical release week, personally. I'm streaming though!

Do we know if this has moved up to Radio 1’s A List this week? I feel like this week might be it’s last chance so fingers crossed!

I don't know why this isn't taking off i've been playing it constantly since release. I think it's been cock blocked by Sweet Melody which judging by their previous 4/5 singles wasn't supposed to still be troubling the top 20 never mind being number 1 at this point.

If a song is going to sell, it’s going to sell. Clubs may be closed, but ‘get out of my head’ is currently selling well despite this and it’s also a dance track.

I guess I’m sure Get Out My Head has been impacted too though, I’m sure it would have been even bigger / climbed much faster with clubs open.

 

The weekend effect was definitely still a thing.

 

Just hope it keep climbing, Amazon and Spotify are letting it down at the moment.

Maybe he needs it in top 20 to justify its place on next weeks playlists etc? Not sure how these things work

Yeah I think Get Out My Head could have been a full smash like Head and Heart without lockdown. GOMH is another song (like Sweet Melody and NTFT) that isn't on Today's Top Hits and seems to be lower on Spotify (#19) than expected.

 

It's sad that an American playlist has so much power over our charts. Makes me kinda happy about Amazon/Apple Music getting a bigger market share.
