Why would it not?

They are full YouTube videos ? They just come on one after the other and Kylie is promoting the Youtube videos for her official audio tracks of Disco. BMG didnt upload them all on release day so you can listen for free..... they count towards YouTube or YouTubeMiusic streams.

Fingers crossed this bumps up all the individual YT streams for each video - all her back catalogue markedly improved for 7/11 according to the kworb stats and this only got going on the 8th.

To me this comes across as a live stream of a looped compilation of videos compiled together... I don't see how viewing this stream would translate to the individual videos, or sales. If it was that simple, then all other artists would do this and keep the stream going forever.

I don't think we'll ever truly know if it counts towards anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a cute gimmick to get people engaged with her back catalogue and new album, but not something that's necessarily going to help the streaming of those videos separately.

I guess we’ll know tomorrow if the videos get a marked increase? It’s quite a cost for BMG though as even though Kylie is introducing songs from ‘Disco’ there are no ads saying album out now/stream and download etc., also there is no ad revenue for BMG from it as it’s on a loop.

It was a big move from BMG when there was no revenue for them from the concept.
