Also they might not be included in the first set of mids next week as mine says it is arriving December 1st and others have the same too.

 

Wonder if they will push it back to 4th Dec sales to add even more to that promo week and do another slower week this week?

Vinyl sold out at HMV

 

BMG obviously gearing up for December promo and sales when shops reopen.

 

They could easily have kept a top 10 chart position this week but literally all vinyl except Amazon black standard vinyl has sold out ..... deluxe CDs except Amazon have sold out etc.

 

So all she is selling this week is Standard CDs now and a few Amazon deluxe.

 

It's strange but I guess BMG don't want wasted exclusive so doing limited runs and then bring out new formats ?

You would have to think more vinyls will come for Xmas, Maybe more cassettes etc.

 

It's the biggest sales time of the year and would be silly not to have everything restocked

 

I think they hoped to sell out the original vinyl options but seemed to do so much faster than predicted....they obviously were planning the deluxe marble vinyl and the glow in the dark ones based on the pre orders and as they also sold out so quickly they can now easily risk another limited vinyl run in December, in whatever variant they choose.

Yep it seems the Vinyl sold better than they thought and now maybe getting more manufactured for Dec? The turquoise Amazon sold well and would again i am sure. More of the Deluxe on vinyl would be good. If you think about people buying Xmas presents etc. Would it be too early to stick Infinite Disco on a CD and chuck it out there ?

 

I just think these limited editions are not really needed in such small quantities and is a missed opportunity if they dont bring more out for December shoppers.

 

More cassettes would be great too..... they are perfect stocking fillers and cheap

#15 on the Thursday update. Nick Cave is at #14 and is pretty certain to fall behind. Doesn't seem like anything else is likely to overtake Kylie.

Happy with that outcome if it can stay in the Top 15, hopefully the Amazon vinyl will be enough to give it a boost next week even though it seems it was really limited.

If Kylie can stay top 20 in week i would be delighted but will be tough. Maybe top 25 then back into top 20 on week 5 after promo?

 

 

Next weeks chart is very busy and sales should be up a bit so if kylie could stay top 20 it would be great.I wouldnt be surprised to see all those albums be new entries in the top 7.

It's sold nearly 80k in 3 weeks!

 

In a competitive market where everyone is after your money and there are lots and lots of albums out every week.

 

I wasn't expecting her top 40 for long so she is doing fine for me

Was hoping the Amazon reductions would have had more of an impact but it seems not - I guess there are so many deals and offers that it’s easy to miss

Amazon Standard up to 12th best seller good to see it

 

Deluxe at 24th and not moving but should still get some sales.

 

The 6.99 Standard CD may move top 10 later this afternoon, I think the offer will stay all day

It will struggle a bit with so many offers around plus so many new releases, once promo kicks in again it will bounce back.
