Not sure how I feel about this release. For me, disco was perfect the way it was and I’m not fussed about hearing remixes or collaborations of the album tracks. I’d rather we get new tracks so hoping we get some new material.

I just want the Infinite Disco CD, the songs on streaming hopefully and the Infinite Disco DVD to watch.

 

The new songs will be a bonus..... Maybe a couple of covers? September by Eartth Wind and Fire for example ?

As for Guest List Edition. It's a great concept for a name. We all used to have to get on guest lists to get to our favourite nightclub, disco

 

I just hope the editions are not so limited like Disco was. The glow in dark , colours, cassettes all super limited.... She could have sold much more on week 1 to be honest

I would like Infinite Disco added as a DVD and CD with 2-3 new songs but I predict the DVD will be the main selling point.

There’s absolutely no way Kylie will go Top 5 with this reissue :D

I think it will be top 20 it will get to.

Not overly excited by the 2 editions we’ve seen so far - feels a bit like the SBIT 3 disc edition.

 

Hopefully the new single will get some traction and help the album shift some units in Q4.

I honestly don't care about the chart position. She's already proven herself with No.1 albums spanning across five decades.

I’m disappointed by the lack of new tracks. The remixes don’t really interest me or the DVD.

Four songs are underwhleming... perhaps they are saving the leftover tracks for the next album?

The formats look great, and I’m already feeling nervous that I’ll miss out on securing any items… seeing the dreaded “sold out” by the time I’m aware that the store has updated :drama:

Alright. So a very good mate of mine who’s quite an experienced camera man/DOP revealed (after quite a bit of wine) this evening that he’s been working on two videos for Kylie recently with Dawn Shadforwth. Both filmed back to back. A third is also either in the works or filmed with a different team (possibly in New York, he wasn’t sure). I asked him if Jessie Ware was involved and he thinks possibly involved in the third. Also a female feature in the second video but he couldn’t remember the name of the artists (heterosexual men are so unreliable). He confirmed that Kylie was a delight to work with. NEWS

3 all new tracks? :lol: at the old deluxe tracks leading the new version. Looking forward to the Gloria Gaynor duet though.

The whole project will help her streaming on all platforms. That's a big thing for Kylie and BMG. They will have a campaign ready to go, probably starting this coming week.

 

The Say Something F9 and Basement Jaxx remixes I have never heard, neither the new dancefloor darling.

 

We also forget that she is still capable of releasing one of the original album tracks too, it's not just the three new tracks.

 

I am not getting too excited about the new tracks as no one knows what they sound like but hopefully I will like.

 

The main thing for me is the Infinite Disco CD and DVD. I want to watch and listen to those arrangments etc and hopefully it will be on Spotify too so.

 

So really for most people it will be 3 brand new songs, a lot of new arrangements, a few new remixes and some new artwork etc. For £30 for all 5 discs that is a perfect present at Xmas time. We could also get remixes of the new songs too

 

Not to mention. Kylie will no doubt do some TV and Radio promo and that alone is great for me plus a few new videos also.

 

Just read an interview with Gloria Gaynor and she has a concert or two in November and it also mentions she will have a new song out then also.

 

Add Santa Baby streams for December will add to her monthly streaming figures big time.

I was hoping for at least five or six new songs, so only three (especially considering they are all collabs as well) is a bit disapponting. Having said that, I am so ready for the Jessie one!! And it's a nice bonus, we don't have to worry about chart positions or anything, it will just add some extra sales towards Disco which will be great.

This is the best package we have ever had from Kylie. No idea why people were expecting 6+ songs.

 

3 songs and ID would have been more than enough for me. If people have illegally downloaded ID and spoilt it for themselves then that’s their fault.
