The Killers are dropping as their vinyl release would have made them quite front loaded and they are now at #16, Steps at #17 and Miley at #18 - I think there is a chance Kylie could still climb a place or two.

Amazon had a few copies of the Turquoise vinyl today which have sold out so a few extra sales.

She did, but is overtaken by Miley too so remains the same.

I still feel Miley will fall. I'm amazed at how poorly the album has done given that Midnight Sky was a huge airplay hit in the UK.

I wouldn't say it's done poorly at all! Miley has never been a big album seller and 'Midnight Sky' was only ever going to help so much; it's impressive that it has held its own in the Top 20 over Christmas.

Ya the Killers got a big boost from the release of the vinyl which would be front loaded so disco has a good chance of overtaking.
Miley has been climbing and will do well in streaming additions so I think Kylie won't overtake her. I think she will overtake Killers so should be ok for a top 20

No matter the result disco wont be too far away from last weeks position.

If she could get 8k sales it would be great.

Lewis Capaldi could overatake Kylie but 18 or 19 looks like her chart homeplace for this week.

Kylie will be awarded a Gold disc this week.

Thursday mid week update

19 (19) Disco

Sales: 5,809

Yesterdays sales: 851

:)

Should manage just over 7k for the week then? (Although the physical music market seems to have totally collapsed in the UK this year  ).

Christmas week begins at midnight, so I thought it would be interesting to look back on where Kylie's albums appeared in previous Christmas weeks:

04 Ultimate Kylie

05 Kylie

06 Enjoy Yourself

17 Fever (2001)

18 X

20 Kylie Christmas (2015)

21 Rhythm of Love

28 The Abbey Road Sessions

32 Greatest Hits (2002)

36 Light Years

39 Body Language

46 Kylie Minogue

49 Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection

51 Golden

57 Fever (2002)

60 Aphrodite

62 Kylie Christmas (2016)

97 Greatest Hits (1992)

Fingers crossed 'DISCO' can appear in the Top 20!

It seems set to have 6 weeks Top 20 - if it remains there next week it would be 7! :o

Her last album to achieve 7 consecutive weeks in the Top 20 was 'Ultimate Kylie', or 'Fever' if you only count studio albums.
