That means 'DISCO' has sold 1877 in the three weeks it has spent outside the Top 200, which works out at 626 a week.

600 a week isnt bad at all when you look at album sales so at least its still tipping away at sales.

120,000 cleared and more ahead.

Dua Lipa has great admiration for Kylie.

I always like to see some of the current artists mention Kylie as someone they looked up to and idolized, i think Kylie shows its all about the package, while Kylie is a great singer she isnt the best singer in the world either, she is no Whiteney Mariah or Celine but she just ticks so many boxes, she can sing, she can act, a fantastic personality, relatable, puts on great shows and has moved with the times and always kept on a down to earth level. Its all of these and much more why she is stlll loved by millions and has remained so successful so long into her career.

The new spark of interest with Real Groove could help increase Disco sales.

I wont get my hope's too high.

Pleased with 600 a week tbh - and good to know it’s passed 120k, the consistency of her album sales for the past few years

Her album sales are very consistent since joining BMG.

That said, Disco deserves to at least be level with Golden.

Recently it requires in the region of 800-900 sales a week to make the Top 200. Hopefully DISCO can at least be consistent and manage 600+ sales a week for a while, and fingers crossed it can be revived at some point this year. I guess it's around 40,000 behind Golden at the moment.

Ya its 40k behind but we still have more to come hopefully and it should continue pulling 500 plus weekly sales for a while yet. Interesting to see how much it will close that gap by the end of the year.

Disco remains ahead of sales achieved by Sam Smith and Ariana Grande who both released a week prior to Kylie and both the above has deluxe releases coming each week for the next fortnight.

Golden hasn't stopped selling though, in streaming era is impossible to stop selling. The gap will be closed but I would think that Golden manages to sell like 10-15k a year too?

I dont know if its selling that much per year but hopefully it is or higher, im hoping Disco has life left in yet to get back in the charts and pull in more sales in higher numbers, if they dont do a new edition its likely it wont catch the sales of Golden but hopefully we have at least 2 more singles from Disco and some performances when Kylie returns to the UK.

It'll all depend on the roll-out for the fourth single to be honest. Obviously Kylie's busy doing... something in Australia at the moment and I don't think they'll send one out until the Real Groove 7" is out.

A fourth single def wont come until after the real groove physical goes out i think, so maybe a new single will be announced the end of April, not sure when Kylie is due back in the Uk so they might hold off until she returns.

‘Dance Floor Darling’ has today been sent out to UK radio as the next single.
