So pleased to see it holding strong in the Top 10 - really hope it manages to stay by Friday
Still #9, no sales as of yet though.

9,602 - quite a small increase of 392. Silk Sonic at #10 are on 9,099 (+1490 sales).

Looks like #10 is Disco's destiny this week!

^^ Happy with #10, after the first mids I thought it wouldn’t have a chance of staying Top 10.

I am happy with 10 hun.

Lets be honest. It is Disco with 3 new songs added on. That is it. How Kylies fans got this to number 10 I will never know. I am loving the art work though and the blu ray dvd concert.

Just Carol Honey

Id be happy with 10 and i think it will hold on, ideally i would prefer a single digit debut but its unlikely, Kylie should just about make 10k and hopefully it will have some steam left to get some sales next week.

Really interested to see what next week will bring - it feels like there is zero interest outside of the fanbase in this so expecting it to plummet? Hope it adds a few weeks in the charts at least though and clocks up some decent additional sales.

This is Kylie’s first release without the instant visibility in supermarkets to attract pick up sales (especially after promo) and ultimately that is going to hurt its trickle sales.

DISCO will definitely be out of the Top 100 next week :D

Let’s hope we see the same BMG strategy this year for Black Friday - CDs £6.99 on Amazon and reductions on her official store, I’m sure there will be more appetite for it too if they have a stack of expensive vinyl to shift.

The 2-track CD of DISCO: Guest List Edition isn't in any of the UK supermarkets?! That's a major hole in the release strategy.

Majority of supermarkets don’t sell CDs anymore or a really reduced amount (eg: a Top 5).

All of mine do. Tesco, Sainsburys and ASDA sell a range of at least 40-60 CDs. They all stocked the original DISCO album. They all had The Moonlight Edition of Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia for example.

Sainsburys announced in June they were pulling out of the CD market and the large stores near me stopped selling them almost immediately - https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.u...ss-57763301.amp

My local Tesco has a Top 5 and my local Morrison’s has a Top 40 with 90% of the chart made up of £4-5 ‘Greatest Hits’

Thankfully that's not impacted my area yet. Only a couple of weeks ago I picked up the latest NOW CD and and the new Best of Bond CD from my local Sainsburys, and they had all the current releases. If I pop in over the weekend I'll see if the Guest List Edition is in stock or not.

Won't Idles and Damon Allbran fall below her? Or are they also selling at the same rate?

Hopefully they do, I dont know how far kylies was behind them in sales.

Not sure about Wednesday but on the Tuesday mids, Kylie was selling over 600, IDLES over 700 and Damon over 1.4k. Both too far ahead in terms of sales of the week for Kylie to overtake. IDLES should be selling a lot more really given their album last year sold 27k including a lot on vinyl.

^^ Interesting regarding the Idles - their last album a year ago shifted 15k on vinyl alone, maybe a new album 12 months after the last was too soon?
Its probably as its released so soon, i wonder for the Idles was there any issues with availability? Id say its highly unlikely Kylie will overtake them or Damon, its just more will Bruno overtake Kylie which i do think will happen.

i think BMG will have a few tricks up their sleeve to keep it ticking over a bit longer and generate some sales until nearer Christmas.

Kylie will probably still have a bit more promo left.

Still bizarre that BMG/Herself have not mentioned anything about Infinite Disco being part of the main selling point......

So i guess Black Friday reductions for 2 CD album and also maybe itunes for limited period? Another format? signed? Lets see.

Still think Bottle of Wine and CD promo in supermarkets could have worked lol
