Digital downloads will be defunct by the time we get the next Kylie album :drama: That will take away some advantage that will need to be made up elsewhere
Also Golden CD was much cheaper and discounted earlier and also shops where open when Golden released and CDs a big seller in that area

Lots more charts coming through now (US, Canada, Slovenia and Czech Republic).

Are we sure the Slovenian one is real? I was talking with my friend, who is from Slovenia, the other day and he said the country doesn't have an official chart.

I know it doesnt make much of a difference but Shane it missed american top 25 by 1 place, still it's done well in terms of kylies success level there.
Well done to the people of Spain getting Kylie another Top 10 placement.
Ooh, great to see the format breakdown for DISCO! Truly impressive vinyl sales.
I think Disco will prob have a big fall here in Ireland this week, her last few albums havnt had great 2nd weeks at all.

US Sales info

Kylie Minogue dances onto the Album Sales chart at No. 2 with her latest studio effort, Disco. The set was released via Darenote/BMG and sold 15,000 copies in its first week -- the pop superstar’s best sales week in over a decade. Minogue last sold more in a week when her 2010 album Aphrodite launched with 18,000 sold (chart dated July 24, 2010). Her latest also lands Minogue her best rank on Album Sales, one-upping the No. 3 debut and peak of Fever in 2002.

Disco was released in a number of configurations, including a standard 12-track edition and a 16-track deluxe version. Overall, Disco sold a little over 6,000 digital album downloads and nearly 9,000 in physical sales (across multiple CD, vinyl and cassette editions).

Disco performed well on vinyl, debuting at No. 5 on the Vinyl Albums chart with 3,500 sold. The vinyl LP was available in a standard black edition, along with color variants exclusive to Minogue’s webstore, Barnes & Noble and Spotify.

For fans of the old school cassette format, the cassette edition of Disco sold 500 copies in the U.S.

Disco also debuts at No. 26 on the Billboard 200 chart, securing Minogue her highest charting effort on that tally since 2010, when Aphrodite debuted and peaked at No. 19 (that July 24).

Big drop in Hungary especially when Kiss me once went number 1 there, interesting to see what the sales difference is there but unlikely we will ever find out.
#21 in Poland. 'Golden' was #23 and 'Kiss Me Once' was #25.

Also #33 in Hungary. A drop from #10 for 'Golden' and #1 for 'Kiss Me Once'.

Nice to see an increase - was hoping it might have been slightly higher but good to see each album doing better than the previous.
