November 18, 20205 yr Radio 2 Allstars looking like they're not even going to be particularly close to #1 in the end unless something big happens in the next couple of days (which I wouldn't rule out still). Charity single fatigue is real. Baccara coming to miss the top 40, aww :'( A less dramatic sales update for McFly today, they may still fall short of 20k - but I was really expecting like 15k tops for them so they already beat my expectations!
November 18, 20205 yr Hoping Billie gets it. Ariana rescuing this era with her great performance on the singles chart. Positions went to number one and the second single 34+35 hit the top-ten. Motive hit the top-twenty and POV looks likely to follow suit soon. Not bad at all. Also where is 34+35 today?
November 18, 20205 yr The actual event is that week, but it's not being broadcast on ITV until later in December Oh so there is a RV this year. Had read it may be cancelled. Yes, just read it will be broadcast after Christmas rather than before as usual. Edited November 18, 20205 yr by Sixth Sense
November 18, 20205 yr The Royal Philharmonic albums still making a top 10 debut. Thought the first Elvis one was the best and the Carpenters one last year was very good too.
November 18, 20205 yr I had a hunch you were a troll account hun and now I'm certain of it  Whatever hun. We are not all down with the new kids. Thanks for your kind words though. I googled it and the only song I know by him I thought was a James Arther song 🤣 Thanks hun. Just Carol
November 18, 20205 yr I’d much prefer Billie to get it but I can’t see how she will unless she’s somehow had a bumper streaming day today. She’s very marginally ahead on Spotify but probably behind on Apple and Spotify combined. The ITunes difference only amounts to 1-200 per day.
November 18, 20205 yr The gap between Ariana and Billie is basically unchanged from yesterday, Billie will need a biggish increase to get #1 and I don't really see that happening. Always possible she could climb to #1 later though, she's holding up well on streaming so far.
November 18, 20205 yr I've only just got round to listening to that Shane Codd song. What a tune! Hope it climbs a few more plaices by Friday.
November 18, 20205 yr In an ideal world Miley would stick in the Top 5 alongside Ariana, LM and Billie; Dua would rise to join them. And Diamonds and either Magic or Say Something would dent the Top 10. But alas, we live in a world where Lewis Capaldi will probably remain in the Top 10 of the albums chart for the 666th week running.
November 18, 20205 yr Ariana and Billie sold the same today(yesterday) then. Shane Codd becoming huge. :w00t: Poor Baccara. :( Edited November 18, 20205 yr by Jason
November 18, 20205 yr I'll be very surprised if his second isn't just as big! He has a decent following due to his personality and music but its all about the song, plenty of artists have faded between albums!
November 18, 20205 yr Not surprised that AC/DC have slowed a lot and were upfront, stated as much earlier in the thread. Should make near 60k. Pity Ariana looks like getting another week at the top as the song isn’t strong enough as a four weeker number one for me, she’s done a lot better but I guess that’s the level she’s at at the moment in terms of chart domination. There’s really not many huge songs around at the moment but Miley/Dua and Shane Codd showing huge potential!
November 18, 20205 yr Those low sales at the top definitely make me feel like Miley / Dua and Shawn / Bieber could have pretty big debuts. Miley will surely get quite a Spotify push as Duas team are very good with Spotify playlisting etc. Could definitely see them both debuting top 5 if not higher.
November 18, 20205 yr ^^ Shawn/Bieber have just announced a £2.99 CD single too which should help - https://ukshop.shawnmendesofficial.com/*/*/...gle/6SOQ0000000

November 18, 20205 yr Yeh always forget about the Bieber track which will be big too. Whoever gets there they will get their chart run broken by the Xmas songs for two weeks, Even ‘Blinding Lights’ suffered last December before order was restored in January(and for the rest of the year)!

The release is being handled by Miley's label as far as I know. Dua is only a feature
