November 27, 20204 yr I am still worried about the negative press this may get because no one was social distancing and they may well have all had a test for three day running but it doesn't look great to the public eye. If I saw that on TV in a pub I would call them all covidiots. It's probably covid secure though in some way I mean Kylie has spent the last 3 months telling us she cant go to clubs etc and have to social distance doing everything then........ She is touching people and close contact. Kylie stands out 🥰 The guest appearances are a bit of a damp squib, although that has less to do with the guests themselves than the issues involved in bringing people together under current restrictions. Kylie Minogue and FKA twigs turn up, the former stealing the show by the simple expedient of looking less like her every move is choreographed than anyone else in the room, but Miley Cyrus’ cameo turns out to involve showing the video for her duet with Dua Lipa, Prisoner. Elton John performs a verse of Rocket Man on a screen above the stage, before he’s suddenly faded out.

November 28, 20204 yr I was slightly worried before hand but now feel better about it. Although many have requested for an official version of Real Groove feat. Dua Lipa, I am still unsure it’ll happen.
November 28, 20204 yr Yep I doubt it will happen as BMG would almost need to guarantee Dua Lipa chart success lol. It could be used as an official edited video for Real Groove for extra streams ? Dua has enough songs in the chart and potentially knocking one of her own singles out to fit Kylie feature in probably not a good idea as only 3 songs co unt to chart success. Who knows though....it all good publicity, except from people worried about Covid protocols etc which could still cause problems if one of the participants catches the virus

Obviously Dua is selling a lot more these days, but let's not forget that Kylie is still a bigger name than her. I am sure it would be an honor for Dua to feature on a Kylie song and not the other way around.

It's good that Kylie getting a lot more social media mentions etc and it seems some countries have picked up a bit of streaming and iTunes downloads due to this appearance with Dua. Good to see. It's these passive promo slots that gets casual sales creeping up.

November 29, 20204 yr It would be lovely but i guess Dua would really have to love the song, want to do it and commit to any promo? but it would work best as remix version on an EP and not even a video/promo needed. Just as an extra streaming/purchasing platform for a Kylie song then it wouldn't need to be counted on Dua's main songs discography unless she wanted it too. can see Kylie using the Studio 2054 video clip for promo for Real Groove as an official video and edit it out to fit the full song...... or........ could they have filmed a full version during rehersals for Kylie to be able to use.................... all speculation...... lets see what comes out Thursday/Friday this week 3/4th Dec. Pretty sure something will.... Or last week if we count the BBC track :lol: Would love a tie up between the two though just to get Kylie back in the Top 40 tbh! November 29, 20204 yr Kylie a bigger name than Dua Lipa ? Are you sure? Ofcourse. Kylie is a legend, you cannot compare her to a singer who just started a few years ago. Dua may be setting the charts on fire right now but you honestly can't say she is a bigger star than Kylie.
