Yeah I can’t see it not being Taylor tbh. Mariah should hang on to #2, but only 600k for her today is pretty disappointing, her sales may actually be lower than last week

I’ve checked Cardigan’s streams on its first week, and they constantly fell every day in its first week. It started with a 506k stream debut, and had 256k on the final day of the tracking week.

Fingers crossed for no body, no crime to retain its spot as third most popular! So good.

Hmmm interesting. I’d imagine willow would follow the same sort of trend. Cardigan also only did 35k sales first week whereas Mariah did 44k last week, so there’s room for her to fall slightly and willow to outperform cardigan slightly with Mariah still keeping #1

Very good start there!

'gold rush' is my favourite from the new Taylor album so seeing its chart eligibility hanging in the balance is frustrating
Will be another exciting chart week if Taylor’s doing that, remember Mariahs 600k are only 300k really but I suspect Saturday and Sunday’s figures will be nearer 700k for Mariah.

willow’s Spotify debut is slightly smaller than cardigan’s. willow has almost 20k less streams in its first day than cardigan did.

She did 850k last Saturday. Looks like this week might be lower but I’d imagine still around 800k

Yeh could be found that figure was just playing down because the mid week of the month always sees the Xmas songs slow slightly before going crazy on Xmas week again

Great start for Taylor, hopefully she gets 3 songs top 10 officially again but top 20 would be great too

I'm surprised Mariah and Wham have both fallen from last week even with new Taylor, Xmas songs should be growing the closer to Christmas as we get! Mariah was getting bigger numbers at the end of November

I think that was because more people were at home due to national lockdown. Now due to the tiered system in place, people are out and about more in the tier 1 and 2 areas.

with ACR and 3 track rules I think the top 10 looks like

1) willow

2) champagne problems

3) no body, no crime

4) All I want for Christmas is you

5) positions

6) Last Xmas

7) Show Out

8) Whoopty

9) 34+35

10) Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

So yeah the song that's actually #40 would be top 10

Oh yeah, that would make sense

What ever happened to ‘people don’t want to stream new music during Christmas’

What a silly comment that was

Think there's a difference when it comes to a big event like a Taylor Swift album release though.

I think its gonna be difficult for willow

Mainly cos its low on HH

At around #40 so barely an effect

Moreover, unlike in the summer now Amazon are reporting

High streams, ie Jess has almost 4k streams a day at @7

And so far willow is low on Spotify
