If you're talking about Keir Starmer (who was DPP, not Attorney General), he is comfortably off as a result of his own efforts. His parents were not wealthy and he went to a state school. He has also never been sacked for lying, either from a job or from a marriage.

The Tory MPs are shitting themselves, they just waltz around and do as they please now they have stronger electorate opposition. Even donors are coming out now and making lavish statements as clearly they are angling to get rid of Johnson. The problem is, I think a lot of them think that changing the leader will do the trick. I think it runs deeper than that now imo as there are other issues at hand and not just Brexit. And by the time a general election rolls up, I don't think Tory MPs can say "we will make Brexit work" when it will have been 3 years.

January 12, 20223 yr Author Looks like the peak in hospitalisations has been reached in London, definitely a broken link between cases, hospitalisations and deaths - thanks in part due to the vaccination programme but also the lower virulence of Omicron. Amazingly I'm still yet to test positive and nor has anyone in the office I work at - we are still at COVID zero somehow (all triple vaxxed).
