Also Armenia and North Macedonia should not be taken lightly they will always be prime for an upset or two.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino has written to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to ask for his support in convincing Premier League clubs to release players for World Cup qualifiers in red-list countries.

Infantino says clubs have a responsibility to let players travel during September's international break.

It comes after clubs in England and from Spain's La Liga said they would not release players for matches in red-list countries.

Surprised Sam Johnston has kept his place and surprised he didn’t leave West Brom, guess GK isn’t England’s strongest position at the moment!

Fan reaction to taking the knee in Hungary was disappointing but sadly not at all surprising.

Seen it was 0-4, easier than I thought as Hungary did better than the sum of their parts in June!
I was half watching the Germany game while FaceTiming and it looked like a good first step and improvement compared to the Euros. Looked a lot more dangerous and dominant. Sure it was piss easy opposition but Flick hasn’t been in the job long And so we’re only just getting that first taste of what he can offer

*Russia are actually banned from the 2022 World Cup but can apparently play as a team of independents.

Only four 100% record remain: Denmark, England, Sweden & Switzerland.

What does Russia playing as a team of independents mean?
Disgusting scenes in Hungary with the racist abuse and beer cup throwing at the England players, England taught them a lesson on the pitch however with the 4-0 win. You can see how strong the bond is between the England players even if they play for different club teams they're all so unified and I think it's incidents like what happened tonight that bring them closer together.
What does Russia playing as a team of independents mean?

Same as the Olympics where they can play but can’t call themselves Russia.
