January 17, 20214 yr I quickly ran some numbers on my spreadsheet and can confirm there have been a grand total of zero contests where the winner would have still won after a 33% deduction. The biggest percentage win margin of all time, Eva Simons' 'Silly Boy', would have been extremely close though (it'd be knocked down to 179.56 points, while 2nd place in that contest got 180 points). I think it's safe to say there's not a great need for that particular hole in the rules to be patched :lol:

October 9, 20213 yr I agree with those Lookylion ones, although anything could happen! I predict Aeroche to have a relatively floppy year :o perhaps only 1 win this year? I reckon Hendinia could be our year end #1. I think now they're modding they'll start doing some srs business in the contest. I'm going to predict/manifest I will enter every contest this year! I reckon I will do similarly to last year and qualify most the time but not particularly successfully! I think I'll DNQ in the first half of this year. I reckon an 'old force' who hasn't won in a while like Botaniika, Numayania, FSR Rontvia or Caerfyrddia will win this year. Jade or Bray to win this year too, but not both. I'd love another first time winner this year too! And every one of the previous 3 were started by different members so let's continue that trend at least. What's gonna happen this year? Well methinks: Debut wins for Lookylion, Mosquetania & Séyetana Well predicted Dobbo (and Klumzee looking through the thread)! :cheer:
December 6, 20213 yr Dobbo almost got Mosquetania & Séyetana right too but they were hosts in this year's BJSC. Chestoria qualified 4 out of 6 attempts this year which is a big change of fortunes from last year. We have 3 new nations joining this year and it seems none of them will be leaving for BJSC 141, but we did have a returning nation that participated in one edition and left next. FARC is on their way to reclaim #1 especially winning twice in a row this year and BJFest did return. We can safely say Dobbo is a fortune teller :P

December 6, 20213 yr Who was this, was it Palmyra? Actually both Sergeistan and Palmyra, maybe more? Manifesting Sergeistan to make a comeback in 2021 Also manifesting toffochews to participate in BJSC next year
December 6, 20213 yr Palmyra and Sergeistan were the only returning countries who only had one entry this year but there were a bunch of others who have made brief returns during the year for 2-4 contests but have (as of now) left again - Arcodesia, Cadelicia, Kingdom of Horanius, Kylienips, Sandebörg, Sandénia, Varakë and Zaminton. Also #00274E who came back for 6 contests and seem to have wandered off again but they've always been like that, hope we'll see a return from them again in 2022 x
